hated doing the squad death match wins but last 3 i just won and didnt even die once looool
Battlefield is more focused on having the right weapon / right class for your particular situation.
In games like CS and COD you can pick up any weapon and go and kill people with it.
in BF3 you really need to think about how you play, and choose the attachments for your weapon, and the right class.
Plus the maps are much more open and large in BF3, necessitating a certain amount of going and finding stuff to do. I have a decent SPM compared with others, because i like chasing around the map looking for something to do.
Nothing, teams are stacked in your favour when you win, and opposite when you lose.

You're playing randoms so when you've got a team full of snipers all having buttseks on a rooftop somewhere and you're the only one capping flags, and the enemy team are actually decent and all playing together, you're going to get your ass handed to you.
The only way to ensure you do consistently well is to either A) just camp one objective with a friend or two so your KDR remains good
or B) always play with the same teams every time, But that aint ever gonna happen.

Not really, M16A3 + RDS. Was shocked how easy this combo works in almost every situation, I've put my aek away. Still the old rock scissors paper, with most of the guns just about equal to fluff (duelees are still pro I tell you!).

Honestly, hardly any recoil (on pc), it annihilates squads. I was a victim to this rifle last night hence the switch, and the tables instantly turned (team still didn't win, would cap one flag and my team would mostly just die and loose another flag).
Now now, you don't have to stroke my ego that much.
Don't think skill comes into this game at medium high, too much lag which drains out most of the skilled kind of play you'd see in cs (stepping in and out, stop and shoot).
Honestly the bullets seem to fire at a rate that the server can keep a track of, didn't try against close range f2000/famas/shotgun, so will need to see what happens.
I have no trouble dropping multiple people with any of the guns tbh. I like the Famas, the L85, the G53, the G36C the F2000
But that won't stop you getting a hiding when the teams are stacked against you and your team is crap while their team is working properly and skilled.

My score tends to be towards the top regardless of the opposition, the only problem seems to be when teams are stacked and I can only take out 1 or 2 before dying (mainly because the nubcakes decide it's time to grind and lose so they sit as far back as possible whilst shooting hardly anything).

I'm not surprised westie, thats how annoyingly good you are. I consider most of the ocuk players decent, some are very good but you are in a league of your own.
