Who is OCUk's Oldest Gamer?

42 here, been gaming since pong. First computer was a ZX81 with 1k ram - Who remembers Mazogs? lol

Computers, i've had just about all of the mainstream models. Sinclairs, All CM's, BBC's, Oric1. Never thought much of consoles, first console i bought was an xbox360 and used it only once!

*** Oops double post sorry ***

I've 24 in two months. I've been playing games since I was about 7.

I'm lucky that I have a girlfriend who understands that I've been playing for most of my life and gives me time to play. (Wait until I'm married :P).

I'm not the oldest of course but I hope to be sometime :D.

20 here.

cant believe iv been gaming since nvidia gforce 2 ultras came out back in 2000, and building systems since 2001, so i was 11?! :O sheesh!

45, first game I bought was Space Invaders for the ZX81.

First PC games were Ultima VII and Doom.

First modem gaming was Doom Coop with a work mate on 'Hurt me plenty'

First online gaming was Quake II with Wireplay.

I'm actually quite looking forward to retiring so I can get on with some serious gaming :D

If my kids put me in a home without a decent broadband connection I'll be well annoyed.

As with many others, ZX spectrum 48k main gaming. But did have a B/W console that had 2 paddles on it for tennis, football & squash. Binatone I think.

First game i ever played was life it is a pretty good game, i have been stuck on a few levels but i have always manged to beat them eventually.

The title of this thread is "Who is OCUk's Oldest Gamer?" rather than, "How old are you?", so I am not quite sure why so many 20-30 year old's are posting! ;)

If playing hidden object games counts as 'gaming' then I will almost certainly qualify, although I am not really into 'World of Warcraft' or anything like that.

Just how many OAP's do we actually have on here, I wonder?
