Shame AA is not working with the game client yet.

With no .ini tweak or any nvidia control panel changed and with only the AA settings at high in game

Keep the mouse over the AA icon in the graphics menu and it will read:

Not implemented in game yet

It seems to be a tooltip error.

Anyone on Hydian Way, is it me or has it suddenly become deserted? This was one of the busiest servers if I recall correctly!
(Admitedly I am not playing as much these days simply due to lack of time).

By the way - Rested Zones - Are they only in the Fleet area or Cantinas?

Not one of the busiest, or even close.

I'm on Hydian Way, move from Frostclaw.

Server's population seems to be matching the activity of Frostclaw. When ever Frostclaw is Heavy, so is Hydian Way.

The AA works, at least on high anyway. Not tried low. No idea what high actually is of course, could be 4x or 8x etc.

Did notice a couple areas where it looked like it wasn't actually enabled though so may just be a rubbish implementation (again)

Anyone got any opinion on the new cooldown indicators? Bit crap imo for anything with over a 30s CD since it lights up the ability with a tiny little shaded part to mark the CD, was loads of times in WZ's a quick glance made it look like Force Stasis was available to use but still had a few seconds left on the CD :(

lvl50 pvp bracket doesn't seem much different so far, still the same old "lets completely ignore one side" in voidstar at least. Not tried it on any alts yet so maybe its amazing for the lowbies not having to be steamrolled by 50s.

Has anyone had the random loading screen flickering/reloading bug? Happening to me every few minutes where I see the loading screen just running around space station.

I've tried disabling/changing all graphics options and its still happening. A few of my guildies are reporting it too...getting on my nerves already. If it was something I could change to stop it happening I gladly would.

Well tested patch...

Getting that as well, not hugely often except on load screens (at first i thought it was intended)

Some CS person on the forums has posted a workaround of deleting the client_settings.ini file, dunno if it works or not.

Well, I've set everything to low, worked in and out of window mode. Set everything back to high, turned "AA" off.

Then I clicked "reset defaults" on the main preferences video screen. Monitoring now to see if its helped. It was happening randomly for me whilst running around.

If it doesn't help and annoys me too much I will try that work around!

Yup it looks like vsync doesn't work properly now either, getting over 60fps even with it ticked.

Shame was willing to give it another go before free subs ended, but im definetly not resubbing now. With the above, bugs still present and with a very bad unoptimised engine that can't cope with multiple people in an MMO it's fail to be honest.

This first "omg major patch" has made me think that I might not bother. I'll pay for one month - I want to see level 50, do some PVP and generally experience the top but I can't see it being for long given the amount of content.

The unoptimisation is the biggest kick in the nuts and all the "instancing" of servers. I never see ANYONE running around areas like I used to in WoW. You see the odd few but its so rare.

Running around the imperial space station is a complete joke. So many people, so much FPS drop. My rig is decent for gaming too!! Even when you drop the settings to LOW it STILL lags with a tiny improvement.

That's the problem, there was a video posted earlier of pvp in Ilum with 50+ people and it was a slideshow with crashes when it got to much.

I did mass world pvp in WoW, AOC, Warhammer and Rift with more than that and could still run smoothly, if i couldn't i'd drop the settings a little from high to medium if the slowdown was really noticeable but that was when your screen was absolutely packed. SWTOR graphics really arn't all that good for how poorly it runs with multiple people on screen, you'd expect more from a game classed as an MMO.

In the video posted switching to low details actually made the game slow down even more for some of the guys with good rigs.

It realy is a gamebreaker in any MMO to be honest.

Ive cancelled my sub,i have 60 days left from a timecard mind.

FPS drops to around 10 via the fleet especially are game breaking from my point of view, maybe not for others though,i cant stick the constant stuttering anymore.

Dont think i used a game engine this bad ever, the Hero engine will end this game imo unless it can be fixed, thats my opinion anyway.

I dont even play PVP yet,but reading the SWTOR forums what they have done today with this new patch is potentially game breaking,i wonder how many will cancel alone on that issue?

Dont get me wrong i dont want to sound like a right moaner,i love the game, but its getting more unplayable per day for me,and it seems there are many more who agree.
