Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

I done a lot better in it at the start than i do now. Still not much of a pilot, my chopper flying is ok'ish, but my jet handling is dire. It can be hard trying to see people in the game, due to the contrast. I even tried it on lower settings, (the old fps favourite). Made no difference so i turned the settings back up again
 
Ive been messing about with my monitors mode setting, (benq fp241w), i normally run it on standard, but selecting dynamic setting helps a fair bit with bf3. But i do agree that the lens flare and sun glare are a bit ott.
 
Not tried to play in ages... But just loaded up for a game and there are next to no players, about 5 - 6 with a few players on and a couple of nearly full ones then a list of dozens of empty servers.... Has the game died already?

Good games last night and enjoyed the banter on ts3 (sorry I can't talk guys)

When it works well in squads working together it's just such a pleasure. Ended up with 10k score despite joining late and another 24k in ribbons and awards on just one round! :D

my K/D was pants though but it's all about what's best for the team.

And thanks to whoever it was who took a knife for me las night when the guy was creeping up behind me and you ran out of the gap in the wall between me and him and you got knifed :D

I did kill him for you though ;)
 
missed one day of bf3 and getting withdrawal symptoms.

and things might not get any better over the next few days looking at my work schedule. hope i can stil remember how to play next week.

I feel your pain!!! One more day to go, one more day of sorrow, one more day of no internet, then I'll be after LtMatt's tags tomorrow

Try to get into the F35 and land the jet on a capture point to get the flares and heat sinks upgrade. And aim for choppers. Thats how i got my first points/upgrades.

I was quite amazed last night that you (and others on here) don;t sound like I imagine you would do in real life ;)

And we won and won well. I think when I joined the game we were losing by over 50 tickets but once our two squads were up and running we made that up. Didn't we end up winning by over 100 tickets?

Seem to remember that our two squads ended up in the top 10 best scores for both sides.

Some epic tank battles were had as well.

Payday can't come quick enough, loved the beta, need BF3 naoowwwwwwww :(

For my first BF game on PC, I found it to be a very agreeable experience, even with the little niggles in beta. Has Battlelog changed since the beta?
