Mental Ebayer

Looks like poor communication skills to me.
I can just about work out what he is on about & I see his point, It seems he has already been messed about already & just wants somebody to come along to view the car with the cash on them to show they are genuine. I'm sure if you turned up with the cash & insurance cover he wouldn't mind you test driving it.

On a side note though I wouldn't buy that kind of car of that kind of chap.

Ebay is not a "I will win the auction, then test drive it to see if it's actually any good" market. You win the bid you buy the car.

x2. Does my absolute nut in when I'm browsing second-hand buys. Losing sales tbh, even worse when its used everywhere in the ad in the same way.

Your just being silly to ignore a seller that spells incorrectly, theirs probably nothing wrong with the goods anyway. They could love the car but by dyslexic, for example. No doubt many bargains could've been brought this way!

:D

:cool::(:eek::(:cool::eek::(:(:eek::o:):rolleyes::D:o:p;)

Exact reason my car was last years 'bargain of the year' terrible advert only the knowledgeable could decipher.

He sounds desperate and a little bit mad to me. As if you're going to trot around the east end with best part of £2k in cash in your pocket, just to help him sell his car!

He must realise by trying to sell his car without tax and not being able to allow test drives is bound to result in much lower offers.

Lost job, selling a car that has not been taxed for some time, wheel speed sensor not working?? seller seems a little odd = thanks but no thanks.

Wonder if his rat/mice problem is causing his odd behaviour?

Granted, I can see what you mean. There are gems out there but to be honest, most adverts with mad grammar are just dross.

Also, I c wut u did thar, sneaky!

Whilst I agree with this, you should expect people to ask for test drives whilst the auction is running - to see if it's worth bidding in the first place.

I did this for a couple of potential buyers when I sold my MX5. As it happened, the last buyer turned up within an hour of the auction ending. He took it for a drive, gave the car a good looking over, then placed the winning bid from my lounge on his phone.

Paid in full, then came back to collect it a week later with a mate.

23 watchers and 3 bidders!!!!!!

i must admit, i've watched cars just to keep an eye on what they sell for.

How dare you! Don't you realise that the "watch" option is a secret squirrel option that you are NOT meant to use. Just because it’s near the top of every pages, you think that gives you the right to actually click on it!?! Don't you understand how frustrating it is for a seller to have 29 watchers and only 3 bids!?!? What if the seller is a child? WHY DOES NO ONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!

p.s. In case you can’t tell, I think this auctioneer is a retard

Some people as they say. Someone send him a link to this thread, I feel he's the sort who would NEED to come on over and learn us all good with his, err, cheap car.

Wow, what a fool.

Never trust anyone who thinks "brought" means "bought".
Lol, or "could have" or "should have" or. "go's". In fact, don't buy anything from someone with no edumacation :D
