Here are the notes, if they haven't been posted already:

1.1.0a Patch Notes - 1/19/2012

Operations

Karagga’s Palace

Fixed an issue that caused assigned loot bags in Karagga’s Palace to distribute items with class inappropriate stats.

PvP

Ilum

Players can no longer enter the opposing faction’s safe base area, thus preventing players from continually "camping" the other faction's base.
Turrets inside faction bases were not intended to be destroyed and are now immune to damage.
The population cap for instances of Ilum has been reduced to improve performance.
Implemented optimizations to improve performance on Ilum.

Miscellaneous Bug Fixes

Loading screens no longer appear when other players spawn nearby.

Actually I agree, the problem is there downtimes are at annoyingly bad times during the days.

Someone will always be unhappy though given that it is played across multiple time zones. As for hot fixes, they should go in ASAP. Agreed that it is annoying though when you can't play a game that you have paid for.

Slightly O/T:

For those of you who have been saying they miss pre-CU SWG, this is a really interesting site about a Pre-CU SWG Emulator. Totally above board as you need the original disk etc. and as the game is now no more I should imagine even more above board. Lots of issues and nowhere near complete but I suppose it really is a test of how much you want the original experience over the spoon fed MMOs of recent times!

(I cant imagine there is an issue with posting a link to an emulator, especially of a defunct game, but if there is feel free to destroy mod!)

I don't think emulator talk is allowed, even when the game is dead.

however yes, most of the SWG fans are aware but last time I checked it was completely useless. No missions, killing animals gave silly XP and was similar to a very poor alpha release.

Hopefully they can sort it. Real shame we can't just buy the rights and code to the original and work from that. :(

Certainly, I'm surprised they're not pushing out more hotfixes.
I was actually expecting plenty of those to pop up after launch.

The timezone problem could be solved by doing maintenance at different times for the US and EU areas, like other MMO's do though.

Yeah still playing.

Fury - 50 Jedi Guardian
Roadblock - 46 Commando

What was your name again? I'll add you and invite you to some flashpoints when I get my Commando to 50.

Main is Koontak - Lvl 50 Sage (Seer)

What guild are you in mate? Any chance of a cheeky invite if they do some PVP please? :)

Hi just got the game installed and created a char on Frostclaw any chance I can get an invite to The Dark Religion char name is Rigormortica?

Cheers

Okay I just made a jedi and my lord does the voice sound childish...

I wanted to just give it a shot and step away from my Sith Juggernaut, but I'm barely 5 minutes into it and hate the voice compared to my Sith.

I dunno, something about it...

Anyway on Niman
Sith Juggernuat: Araythyryr
Jedi Knight : Arathyr

Also is it just me or is there a slight change in the graphics after this patch. I could have sworn my Sith had a darker skin tone before.
I really need to get my back side in gear though, still not lvl 40 yet. And I have some awesome black robes for lvl 40 I got from pvp commendations. I can't wait to get those and a curve hilted lightsaber.

My perfect sith look :D

I know they have a lot of bugs and problems to fix but it does please me there keeping the community informed with information and stuff like this.

Here's hoping they can ride the current wave of negativity surround some parts and come out the otherside in a strong place.

I'm loving the game personally and since being a part of The Immortals have enjoyed so many laughs in the Guild Chat :)

I currently have Bio-chem / Bio Analysis / Diplomacy as Crew skills.

Is it worth dropping one to have slicing instead?

Will i make enough money with these skills?, i was thinking of dropping Diplomacy for Slicing?

Yup that's what i did, slicing still earns you money just make sure to do the lockboxes quests, not the augment as you will normally always make money.

Thanks, im only level 12 so i haven't even used Diplomacy yet, i will quit that skill now and have slicing.

Sorry what is the lockboxes quest?

I currently have articier, tresure hunting and archaelogy.
Which should I drop for slicing?

When you do quests ie. companions do missions for you to get your crafting up with Slicing you have either for Augments or Lockboxes. It's much better doing lockboxes as you always get money and sometimes get plans for more money, where as with Augments you can only put them in crit crafted armour with a augment slot.

Whichever one you don't really use much, but looking at your three you need them all to leave artificer.
