*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Theres a fair few but some are alts - probably around 15 uniques - we have 6 level 50's now - and some taking their sweet time :P

Kl, atm i finding this game far too lonely with very few people doing Heroics above level 20 means you feel like you playing Skyrim a lot of the time sadly.

If i was able to join its a trap on Frostclaw what character do you need?

I am tempted to re do my alt, scoundrel as his pretty cool but maybe a healing sage be quite usefull for your guild ???

Let us know and il make for you guys and hopefully blitz to 50:p

Just wanted to say how impressed I am with the groups I've formed the past few evenings.

I usually find teaming up with people in MMO's a bloody nightmare but everyone I've been working with has been really nice and we've helped each other with missions we don't have as well as the heroic shared ones.

I always found it a challenge in LOTRO or WOW to get anything decent going with other people but this was a pleasant surprise. Not to say there aren't good people in those games just that when you gang with a random from general chat more often than not they're an a**ehole :D

I agree with that totally during beta, it was amazing how quickly you could group up, but once i hit 20+in game on release i found most planets had around 4-20 max players which ment you spend most days doing quests alone and very little Heroic or Public questing.

Made worse when you try do flashpoints above 20 too as it becomes very rare to get a group together if your not a healer or a tank, as it seems everyone avoids letting DPS make groups lol.

hopefully as game populates and they reduce the amount of servers it will get better.

On Sith marauder speaking from a level 49 one id say this,
The class is easly one of the hardest i played in a long time, but can be i feel very powerfull, though others have said this requires insane amounts of keyboard tunnel vision.

To sum up marauder id say this, PvE, quite easy, PvP, you spend more time looking at toolbar than actually looking at game.

Kind of a shame as you not really playing game more of going through the motions.

Whatever you wish to play mate - only in it for fun :)

Got my first warning on the SW forums for the following

Making fun of people for the "whining" or implying that they are crybabies is rude and therefore inappropriate for these forums.

I'll agree with that, I only got mine to level 34 and during about 80% of pvp my eyes were fixed to the toolbar, It's a shame as it takes a lot of fun out of it. Much more relaxing to be able to stand at range and not be so cooldown dependant.

im going to take a punt and say "screw you bxun battle server" and re-roll onto another server ie frostclaw and hopefully join "its a trap" guild.

Il probably roll a healer as i played sorc in beta and found it a pretty good class for groups.

Let me know who i need to contact in game to hopefully get into guild and do some stuff with you guys:)

p.s marauder needs UI mods or add ons to help with its GCDs as this the main issue i find with the toolbar current build, you cannot see half the information you need to during combat easly enough, ie Fury built,Cloak of pain cooldown ect, tiny tiny icons:eek:

I may roll an alt on Niman for my Republic character. Currently on Goluud Corridor as an Operative, and finding it a complete pain to find groups for the higher level stuff. Fancying a PvP server. Only ended up on a PvE one because of a friend.

How active is The Immortals/Niman server? Good bunch of people?

I'm on there mate but don't get to play too much (Strang). Looking forward to hitting 50.....eventually but it'll be a good while until I get there.

I've had a few days off so been playing quite a bit. Still on Tatooine mind you, although I'm at lvl 31. I've been doing every single quest I could get my hands on haha.

Count yourself very lucky indeed then, as those who are usually dead the next depends

Luck? Or are you all just afraid of one little Sith Juggernaut :p
I'll be off that sand ball tonight anyway hehe.

So far I've not ran into any of you on tatooine ahah.

Not many Dark Immortals on besides me and Baeyne

Gonna add you guys tonight and message you for invite. Me and two friends are desparate for a guild and want to add to the Dark Immortals numbers so can give our opposites a run for their money

In game character is Sith Jug - Kahaz

You will lose anything gained from slicing by having to buy the crafting supplies that you need for the higher end stuff.

The higher end ones require you to have an item that is drop only from hard modes. I dropped my maxed diplomacy for slicing made loads of money and never looked back.

I'd you plan on crafting to make money or sell pots then keep diplomacy as its essential. I just made pots for myself so slicing was much better.
