Can other people find my comments on YouTube?

I read Robbie G's CV a few weeks ago when he posted it here and he's clearly a very bright guy. I don't know if this has anything to do with the thread or not but I thought I'd mention it.

I sometimes troll YouTube videos in the comments section. Could say my parents find all comments posted by my username, or find out what videos I've watched? I can't find anything definitive on Google.

Thanks.

Googling this worked for me using my username

I'll try that, cheers Kenai.

Can we have some examples of your trolling?

Nope.

Why would your parents suddenly decide to search for your comments? Why on earth would they care?

It's more that if YouTube introduced something that made it easy to see all the comments made by a given user. I doubt they'd search deliberately as such, but they might get curious and start fishing around my YT home page or whatever it's called.

Well that account has gone and I've created two new ones; one for good and one for naughty. Might go through the comments one day. There's nothing THAT bad, just the kind of thing that would be a bit embarassing if your mother brought it up at a family meal (which mine quite easily could).

Cheers.

So this has nothing to do with your recent LinkedIn thread? Are you afraid of your colleagues seeing your comments, rather than your parents? (I have no idea if LinkedIn and YT can be linked).

LOL, Robbie I thought you were thirty-something, not thirteen. Or whatever age you are to be grounded by parents. :D

It depends what Robbo means by trolling. If they are comments about Gary Glitter's...well everything...then I suppose they aren't not too bad. If they are 'proper trolls' about dead teenagers then I'd start to worry...

OP is one of the reasons why YT is getting so bad.

Seriously, have you NOTHING better in life to do then 'troll' other people's youtube videos?
