Head max on D5 Vario

Which fittings did you get? 1/2 compressions?

I'd get biocide as you'll need 2 kill coils and biocide will be cheaper and just as effective :)

Go for the OcUK tech labs combo (for pump) as it'll be cheaper. Have a look at the alphacool plexi top for the pump

EDIT: also, tubing cutter ;)

ok next question 150 res how often would it need topping up roughly, i'm pondering the idea of removing my HDD cage and mounting the res and pump under the optical bays

also where can i get a temp sensor for the water can't find them on ocuk

Also i'm really tempted by getting a bay res with an impeller to show the pump is working. At least i can say to the wife if i'm not here when you turn it on if that blade don't spin then turn the computer OFF !!!!!
like this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-090-EK&groupid=962&catid=2133&subcat=

Description seems like it might be noisy though

That res is so awesome that I bought two of them!:p

I think OcUK sell a bitspower in line sensor for a temperature probe. Replied to your trust email BTW:)

which res the tube or the bay one.

Oh and also i have a skytch kaze fan controller so those bitspower in line sensors will work with my temp headers on the fan controller, BONUS :)

Are they noisy some you tube vids and they seemed horrific made me want to pee LOL:eek:
P:s i really think OcUk need to expand there watercooling stock

They're not noisy, no

OcUK aren't really a watercooling shop, not yet anyways. They're expanding, but it'll be a while yet until I can get everything from them

If you have a D5 on ful poer, then yes, they will be noisy.

I keep mine on low power so it's silent

U suppose it's a toss up between power and silence. I imagine a d5 on full power will yield better temps than on low power

I was thinking of asking a mod to change misleading thread name to bigjim's and cleeecooo's water cooling descussion thread LOL :P

Is the only input for that res at the top? or can you put the water back in at the bottom? I have my tube res input and output and the bottom and there is no noise or spinning with it :)
