Finding a good game seems to be getting harder recently. The people I have previously played with have stopped playing since before Xmas, and I'm finding the game getting increasingly boring since then. Lone play is jarg.

Maybe it's time to try skyrim.

Add me - Greebo_ocuk

Most of my friends are ocuk forum players as well and always around 20 playing each night.

Brilliant game last night on Damavand Peak CQ. Flanked the enemy with a squad mate and approached the side access tunnels. Killed the single recon on the door and entered, we were greeted with either 9 or 10 guys camped in there all looking the other way towards other teammates down at the end of the tunnel. These guys were just sat there firing RPG's and continually reviving fallen comrades, proper camping ground. Me and my squadmate properly went to town on those guys, I let rip with the MG36 with my half remaining mag and he emptied his AK74 into the back of these guys. We both ran out of ammo (imagine confined space with hip fire and bullets hitting the bodies of those dead/dying) and switched to pistols, killed a few more. Last guy left realised what was happening and properly freaked out, starting bunny hopping around in this little room but not actually shooting us. Since we were both out of ammo my squad mate just grabbed him and knifed him for his tags. Fin. Great stuff :D

Hmm.....sadly i'm getting a little boreed with this game, it's become a kiddie snipe/fly/rpg fest in a shorter time that BFBC2 did.
I played for about 3 hours last night, and struggled to find a server where half the bloody team WEREN'T either of those i've just mentioned.
One gunship pilot was so good the game was literally over inside the first few mins as he raped everything and i don't remember seeing him get shot down.

More servers should apply their own nerfing rules (if that's possible) to cater for those who actually want a good battle rather than playing with kiddie stat whores.
Snipers have no balls = FACT!! Grow a set and join the fight you cowards!

The other side of the coin Joe is that when you are organised you can beat the other team into submission which is a good laugh. Unfortunately this game rewards the team that is most organised and the easiest way to ensure that is jump on teamspeak with a few others.

Yeah, i get what you're saying beh*, i've never actually used TS to be honest, in any game.
Everyone says i'm missing out...........guess i am really.

It's just so much better mate. Get a mic and join the UKCS guys, I'm sure they will look after you.

In other news, auth servers seem to be back online.

I usually get bored fast too, unless im on a comms server with friends. Just makes the game more enjoyable with that little extra banter going.

Having never used TS, i do have a headset, how do i use TS? Is it an app to install? or some kind of bolt-on to the game?

I know that sounds a dumb question, but having never used it, i simply wouldn't know the answer.

Real!

People what's the average size of a Battlefield 3 installation?#

I presume it would fit along with Win 7, Office, Chrome, etc all installed on a 64GB SSD?

I've got a NAS for music, movies and important documents. Any suggestions or wild guesses as to what amount of space i'd have left after installing the above? ;)
