Ok, so Reading people... what time are we meeting at McDonalds?

Google says it is 2 hours to Longshoot if we went the motorway (I hope we're not!)

What time are we meeting at Longshoot...? 11ish? If so, I guess we need to meet at Reading Mcdonalds for 9:00am?

Hopefully someone with a sat-nav can then find a route up there with minimal motorway in it :D

EDIT: Will try and bring a GoPro Hero2 also.
 
Meet at the Longshoot @ 11.30am & we'll probably hang there till 12 to account for any stragglers.
 
So, meet at Reading McDonalds for 0830, leave around 0900 to allow for getting lost a couple of times if we avoid motorways (would be nice to avoid, but if it makes it easier then I don't mind).
 
Which way you Reading Dudes coming ? If you get to Milton Keynes you can pick up the A5 which comes all the way through to the Longshoot. It's a speed road though so don't kill yourselves Before you get here a. :D

If so , how about this route idea, A34 and A5. 2hrs 15mins.

Sounds good. Happy to do either motorway or non-motorway, whatever is easiest for the leader.

It Doesn't start outside the pub it's a short distance away & the section you will run is 10.5 miles of gorgeous sweeping undulating curves with low hedge rows so good visibility up to a big roundabout & 10.5 miles back. :cool:
 
Since it looks like I'm on my own I'll probably bring a friend or two if that's ok? They'll be on 600cc bikes minimum and able to make good progress.

Oooo, yes I am about to be very anal, I only ever fill up on Shell V Power so will have to find some on route :)
 
There's only one downside to this meet that I can see. No alcohol. Other than that it's going to be, and for this I need Mr Barney Stinson........
