** Official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Thread **

i will be rolling either a Druid or Paladin or both next week.

Guild needs some organising, deadwood needs booting and clear aims and objectives need stating and defining on the website.

10 man normals/heroics would be good for me.........cant be arsed with 25mans anymore.

As said before we are not becoming a raiding guild again.

People can chat and organise to use LFR amongst them but we aren't going down the raiding route again which caused all the problems last time.

Guild will be sorted when I can get the GM again.

Although voltage, you should start that limited advance option for alts to experience vanilla thing within the guild. There was something like that when I quit last, ran once a week or something for a few hours, everyone levelling to a certain point, was quite fun.

You can do 10 man normals and still be a casual guild for those that want to. Just a no must do pressures are put on people in terms of attendance %.

Best time i ever had was in a guild like that, if you wanted to raid then you could, if you didnt then that was fine too.

You can be a social guild that raids a bit without being a raiding guild.

not totally surprised by this, as this year were due to get next wow expansion, diablo 3, and hopefully the SC2- heart of the swarm.

kinda feels like they dont have to much to announce this year.

I agree with you, to be honest, but it's definitely gonna be a social guild first and foremost. In the future we'll probably start off by grouping a few together to do LFR runs, then we can see how it goes in regards to getting a raiding squad together in time. Casual will be key - I personally have little interest in HCs unless it's a natural transition that everybody's happy with, and my schedule doesn't allow me regular attendance on the same days every week. Still, it's something we don't need to stress about just yet.
