****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

I plan to switch from Batista to Checkrom 4, why did you think it was ugly, given how easy it is to change themes?

I've been on CriskeloRom for a long time now using Black/Blue theme thread here.

These are some captures of my actual phone right now, personal preference I just like the overall theme as its not all grey and washed out (stock) or bright blinding blue ICS style. :)

Haha I'll give the miuibuntu theme a go then, any good apps for saving my sms messages between roms? I generally let em wipe but I have some important ones at the minute.

Generally if the dialer type isn't identical it ruins the rom. :o

"SMS Backup +" backs up all SMS/MMS/Call Log to your GMail account. It restores SMS/Call Log, MMS messages won't be restored though :).

Oh, I agree with everyone else too, that theme is horrible :p.

Edit: For it to backup Call Log you might have to enable it in the options, I think it just does SMS by default :).

Kill it. Kill it with fire.

Thing with a lot of the roms on xda is that they may be great under the hood but the themes they use (Checkrom i'm looking at you) is terrible and looks like something that a teenager would think is cool. I want my phone to look grown up and professional. And the lightening rom is the closest to it

I caved in. Sorted myself an 18 month contract for a black SGSII!

400 minutes, unlimited texts and 1250MB internet, lovely :)

Would you mind if I asked where you got it from and how much you're paying per month? The other half is looking for a phone and would prefer to get one from a main highstreet shop, rather than one of these cheaper online deals you can get.

Also, free handset?

I caved today aswell, but ive been a cheapskate and gone for s/h SGS2 in white.£260 all in, which wasnt bad i thought. Just need to shift my SGS now

How infuriating. Hope it gets solved soon. I've not found my USB socket to be particularly fluff-attracting. Maybe I just have clean pockets?

Thats what i put it down too anyway because the phone keeps bouncing in and out of in-car mode plus detecting that a USB cable is connected when there is'nt one. When i came to look at it there was a layer of fluff at the bottom of the socket, gave it a good clean as best i could but a no go. Hopefully this problem won't stop me from resetting the counter in download mode when my jig comes.
