I tend to stick to 16/24 player servers till I got the hang of things, that and you dont get spammed without getting any xp first. Failing that, join a metro server and spam ahoy!
 
Ok just had my 500th knife kill, knife tag showed in game but battlefeed and actual profile dont actually show it. anyone else had this ****** bug? was looking forward to it
 
Hi guys,

I'm not great at BF3 yet, haven't played it tonnes but my enjoyment is starting to wain a little bit. I think this is because not a lot of my steam friends play BF3 and playing with randoms is getting boring due to lack of voice comms (does this even work ingame without Teamspeak and such like?) and teamplay.

So what I was thinking (I did this for TFC and L4D) was creating a steam group called 'BF3 OcUK' or something and anyone here who plays BF3 (I assume most of you have added BF3 to steam for the overlay uses) can join the group and play with each other.

Unless there is a group functionality within Origin and there is something like this already for OcUK forum members? I can't read the whole thread lmao.

Ye, just find the platoons on my profile and add a load of the ocuk guys from my friends list.

Also at the start of the thread is a list of OCUK friendly servers, so you can bump in to a few people on them.

Also most players don't have 100% hp anyway, so that 1 shot to the chest with an m98b is an instant kill. And that's a shot to the chest.....

And even if they do have 100% health, a 95 dmg hit almost guarantees you an assist at least because sooner of later some one else will do the other 5% dmg, especially if the guy is in a middle of a battle.

I honestly dont know how can u defend this ****. "only does 95 dmg out of a 100 to the chest". Sure sounds like a balanced weapon. Give my g36c that damage ability and I own the whole damn battlefield blindfolded.

It's a bolt action weapon and is the top unlock for the sniper.

I think it's pretty balanced IMO.

If you've got your wits about it thatb5hp gives you time to get into cover and reheal yourself.

Considering HP re generates in this game it's not often you will start sniping at somebody that already has reduced HP.

Sniping is a perfectly valid tactic on te battlefield and needs to be in the game. The current method nicely balances the need to have it with the desires of snipers to rack up a good K: D ratio stuck up on a hill somewhere

At least ts not like COD where every sniper rifle is a 1 hit kill anywhere above the waist, even on the default level 1 semi auto sniper, and that's before we mention 100 % accuracy the moment you press the zoom key and no bullet drop
 
Found the T-rex yesterday whilst playing a few games. I'd be lying if I said we didn't work as a squad just to cap the point nearby so we could search for it.

11/4 lots of good vehicle kills ( helis / Jets ) and what happens the game freezes up and ctds!. Guess when, Yep IN THE JET COCKPIT!. The game never ever crashes unless i'm in a jet, it can be 4hrs into a match or 4 days later.
