Zone Of Enders & MGS HD collection

I've been playing MGS4 recently to get in the mood (I haven't completed it yet despite owning the game for three years!) and I am at the crying wolf boss battle, and god I was getting infuriated with it so much yesterday, sniping is horrible in this game.

Got my GAME voucher ready and waiting for Friday. :D
 
Can't wait for Friday. Tempted to play MGS2 first in a quick speed run, as I've done it before so many times, and then get onto MGS3, which despite owning it on the PS2 since release, I've never completed! (Got swept up in PC gaming as HL2 arrived on the same day!)

Not sure if I'll play MGS4 or Peace Walker after that (had 4 since I got a PS3 last year).

Just the standard edition for me though. Had the collectors on preorder at Zavvi, then canceled it, as it simply isn't worth the money! Plus the steelbook case looks awful!

Yeah an extra £40 for an artbook and a Tshirt is a bit steep. I really want the Tshirt though. If it turns up and it's an XL or something I'll probably keep it sealed and flog it on the bay in a few months and just buy the regular edition on Friday.
 
zone of the enders..!! One of the first PS2 games I played, I remember it being a little short but graphically at the time it was excellent and excellent gameplay.

Not so sure it would be as good today as back then, it could be but so many games back in the PS2 launch days were simply good because there was lack of choice, but Zone of the Enders was actually a really good gem of a game back in the day...
 
I am half way through MGS1 to be ready to start MGS2 again on Friday!

Im still not happy about the collection not including MGS1.....Its terrible! They already did a remake for the gamecube so whats the big deal just get it done!
 
It makes me wonder if they are working on a remake of the original with the MGS4 engine. I would sex wee constantly for about 7 weeks.
 
Yeah it's beyond daft that they are not including MGS 1 for looking outdated when there including the 2d games. Still I'll pick it up, I wonder what the chances of seeing MGS 4 on the 360? (cue MGS4 30 disc photo lol).

Yep, it's a shame I won't get my hands on the tshirt or the artbook, as they did look lovely. Zavvi shouldn't have priced me out of the market though! :(

Just checked the Game website, can't see the HD collections either! Odd, wonder if when a page is removed like that, does it bugger up the preorders? :p

Thankfully mine is coming from the Rainforest!

I phoned my local GAME at lunch, and they said they should be stocking it on Friday, but I am best to pre-order (at zero cost) to make sure I get a copy on Friday.
 
:D Strange, I was looking for MGS 2 substance the other day for a little play through... Forgot this was looming. When I found the box, no game inside, I actually think my ex may have stolen it accidentally. :(

So I'll be buying this Friday. Although I shouldnt... This month I'm a week short of wages, and have 1 or 2 debts to clear. = \

We'll see :p
 
I can scarcely believe it - but my copy has actually arrived! I've not had time to play it yet but it comes in a huuuge box with a full size art book and the t-shirt (which is medium btw :) )
