yep, Villa & Ronaldo are the only 2 that really nailed free kicks for me this year, actually possibly Tevez too, had some demonic curl last year, too.

what team do you have?

i'm also thinking of selling that team, as im pretty much bored with it and plunging it all into a "SUPER" Brazil Squad, or i could build the Brazil squad i listed above and use that as a 3rd team.

i've mainly been playing RISK Factions this past week, it's so addictive and a real exciting strategy game that i have been missing since Command and Conquer was sold to EA, not the same thing but not a whole lot different either.

it takes a few games to learn what is going on in Risk Factions, Attack Die, Defence Die, stars, capitals, continent bonus's, etc, but it is really coming into it's own now.

i'm actually enjoying it more than fifa due to the DC issues i have been getting.

I've built a mostly-Nigerian team, where the only luxury players are IF Yak and IF Samba (because the Nigerian CBs are worse than useless).
I also have a Mexican team, Hernandez at ST is my best player.

Both are a mix of silver and gold players.

He's cheap enough to try, if not then as you said, Cesar, but I didn't like him one bit, played a team with him yesterday and he had De Gea hands, had a 30 yard shot with Ramires, not that powerful, not that fast, and he just parried it sideways & in, really doesn't seem reliable, whereas Stek just goes in with no fear and does miracles (at times) :D

those teams sound awful,

i think i'll sell my Serie A and just do a super Brazil Squad, im so bored with playing 4222, it's far too repetitive, far too easy and boring.

at least with 4321 i can mix it up a lot, with no real person playing in the "hole" in a 4222, it's really just crossing which gets me the goals.

i think the beast formation would be 4232 but that would require 12 players on the pitch :o

i need at least 2 strikers and i like wing play, so 4321 and 4222 are the only ones which offer that, so looks like 4321 may be from now on my new formation.

i tried 5212 yesterday in a head to head seasons match and it was awful, was 1-1 at half time and i was Brazil, so i wasn't using an overpowered team, switched to 4321 and i thrashed the guy to beat him 6-1 in the second half.

so can anyone think of any improvements to below?

SIF Nene ------ Hulk (LW and RW)

SIF Ramires - IF Lucas - Carlos (3 CM's)

IF Marcelo - Silva - Lucio - Alves

or any Brazilian ST who has greater than 75 passing?

i will have a look tonight. but im pretty sure i want rid of my Serie A team, just so boring now, Brazilians i have a personal passion for.

Agreed. I prefer my BraSilver hybrid team and 4-4-2 5 star skillers team more than my Man Utd and my top end 4-4-2 BPL team. I find hybrid teams are more fun and getting rage messages after beating someones epic team is amazing. :D
 
4321 doesnt really offer wing play - far more likely to have the RB/LB up there on the chalk than any of the CMs. And if you were thinking of using the RW/LWs as wingers, surely they be better setup to cut in? Probably why Im thinking of going 5221 and letting the RB/LB run riot...

For a Brazil squad, I'd def go Pato at ST for all round goodness.

Everyone seems to have such loathing for everyone else's squad now, hate on mine all you want, I've found a formation & team that work for me and I enjoy, I don't win all my games, far from it, but at the end of the day its down to personal preference, Sonny likes to find an efficient team that works how he wants them to, Roband likes to experiment and try new things (and with Fifa, too!), Andy and Dan simply cannot make their mind up, and Bevy just seems to be a lucky SOB with his teams & money!!

the only reason I moan is because players like Aguero and Ibra remove the user ability from the game.

Tim - you don't talk yourself up and I respect that.
Sonny on the other hand is the self professed non-losing phenom. I wonder if that would be the case if he was playing with a 78 rated team, against other 78-82 rated teams?

Anyway - Im stuck trying to formulate a team - taking Tim advice last night Im considering 5221 but stuck on the RW/LWs - with the assumption Ill eventually have the money Im thinking:

Any ideas about the ? ? Want people with pace, good shooting for cut ins and good dribbling - say 50k a pop. No real idea about the GKs, seems to be personal preference between Cech, Hart and Pepa Reina...
