Poll: Kirk vs Picard vs Janeway vs Sisko vs Archer

Kirk, but that's mainly because of the awesomeness of the fight scenes and comedy value. New Kirk was great as well, love that film.
I watched NG the most growing up so Picard "feels" the most like the captain out of all of them, but I actually really liked Janeway as well.
Sisko - it was a space station and didn't bodly go anywhere, so doesn't count in my book, and I have no idea who Archer is.

Picard - everything really. Charisma, intelligence, bravery, the whole nine yards so to speak.
Then Kirk - the original. One reason I prefer Picard is because the series is older it kind of puts him in a bind of how he can act in certain situations because in the 60's certain things were still "expected".
Sisko probably comes in 3rd. He did have some great moments - but the whole prophet thing really did get in the way of that quite often.

Picard > Sisko > Kirk > Archer > Janeway
Picard and Sisko are so close its funny, Sisko had better writing, Picard a better actor. Between them they make the others look shabby and amateurish its silly. I rewatched Generations a while ago and couldn't get over how much Shatner really isn't an actor...
Plus the punch Q bit always made me smile

(only just voyager's is second best)

How about a poll of the ideal Trek crew.
So you want options for Captain, 1st Officer, Medical Officer, Chief Engineer, Security, Helm +1 spare extra male/female character not in any of these main positions.
Mine would be Picard, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Worf, Data + 7 of 9.
And conversely the crapest Trek crew:
Janeway, Chakotay, Beverley Crusher, B'Elanna, Odo, Kim + Neelix
