Are Spar shops having a laugh??

My local Spar (part of a petrol station) sells many different varieties of Amyl Nitrate (Poppers) on the counter for £3.50. I find this quite bizarre.

Spar is stupidly expensive. We had a really nice interdependent store near where I live and it was bought out by spar and kept the same owner/manager. The result was it lost all the more unusual products (most of which were very well priced) and anything left had about 30% added to the price.

The owner sold not because the shop wasn't profitable but because he was reaching retirement and this offered him security and the opportunity to work for a wage if he wanted.

I don't go in any more.

Serves you right for buying Hula Hoops.

Everybody knows that Pom Bear are THE crisps to have when Real McCoys are nowhere to be seen.
