Top Gear Series 18 *SPOILERS*

The Aventador was stunning from every angle. The flames, and that dashboard display. :o

I got a shiver when they spoke briefly about Senna. Brought back a lot of memories of when he died.

Aside from the SIARPC segment it was a good episode.

Just watched this weeks episode. Just absolute dross. It was so scripted and cliched. You could tell that they had decided what they were going to air before filming. Waste of an hour. Worst TV show ever.

Wish they'd bring back the guy with the beard.

:D Chris Goffey is my hero!

More of this please!

I think they should do star in a reasonably priced car every other episode or something, because its getting dull now.

People with great stories and are actual car enthusiasts like Rowan Atkinson and Jay Leno, they are great to watch, but many others are just dull.

The heart screams get the Lambo, the brain says McLaren all the way....decisions...decisions!

And the petrol head shouts get the Noble! To me the Mclaren looks too curvy, too 'cute', like an Elise. The Aventador is just too big to drive anywhere without constantly worrying about someone scraping it on UK roads. It looks the nicest of all 3 though, so mean.

Personal preference too but I feel the M600 sounds more raw as well, it's just untamed and devoid of any computer help, well apart from power steering.

I'd choose the Noble every day

Out of those 3, I would agree.

However, I have always thought that if I ever have £200k to spend on a car, I would probubly end up with a lairy coloured soft top Lambo, just for the complete lol's of it all.

I'm eagerly awaiting the Gallardo replacement :)

And also, cars like this need to get dirty from time to time, super cars look awesome dirty (on the outside) :D

If you were the kind of person who could afford a brand new Lambo Aventador, I very much doubt you would worry about the expense of getting some dings/scratches out of it....

No matter how much money you had of course you would care

You don't buy a £200,000-£300,000 supercar and treat it like a banger...

It certainly wouldn't be cheap, it's not going to cost the same as getting scratches out of a Ford Focus, for example.

Who said you are treating it like a banger???

I said you WOULD fix it because you wouldnt have any owrries about money.

i think to say you wouldnt want an Aventador just because you are worried it might be scratched is stupid.

Of course you'd fix it but having bought a Lambo in the first place, you'd never put the car in a position where it could pick up some dents and scratches in the first place.

By the sound of your post, it's as if you'd use it as a daily and wouldn't care if it picked up any scratches.

All I said was that you wouldnt worry about the EXPENSE of getting it fixed.

I just think it is a silly reason to rule out getting one that is all :p

Having seen the lambo in the flesh in the same colour about 200 yards from where Hamond parked the black noble and got a ticket. I'd sell my soul to own that lambo such an stunning car. Now I've seen the flames and heard the V12 oh my! :D

I don't know about you but of course I would and I know for certain many others here would be exactly the same.

My car isn't exactly worth much but even if I spot a little hairline scratch my heart sinks even though I would get it repaired as soon as possible whatever it cost.

The fact remains that nobody who values their possessions regardless of cost, wants to see those possessions scarred in any way at all. Even if it can be repaired it's still stuck in one's mind that there was damage on it...once.
