Is this rig any good???

Btw, the stuff I found here is under 310 quid. I decided, I will get a rig, then upgrade some parts, when needed I will just buy and replace stuff when it gets outdated or decides to die. Also I decided that 500 quid for another computer is a lot, seeing I have a crappy PC, A netbook and a reasonably powerful Laptop. Also I think youre right bout the PSU, though.

I will look for another one

Ok, I will have to look around, I think my friend has a GFX Card, the main problem is getting enough money quick enough to get it built, I plan to build ASAP when I have money.

Well, if you set an absolute budget we can work to that for you? But it depends when you are going to do it, as weekly and daily deals are always different

Where I have found discounts, I have managed to save about 50 quid, got less for a case, like 15 quid less, less for a PSU, but the reviews for it are pretty good, and they yet have had one cheaper, also I got a big discount on the GFX cards there, so it works out ok on price.

My friends used OVerclockers and his PC is quite good but, but its a wee bit more expensive . but I really need it soonish. Like I can't get it till I have all the money, I thought of buying it bit by bit. But realised if I decided against building there would be problems...

anything less than ~£30 for a PSU and i wouldnt trust it to power a case fan. that coolermaster one being recommeded to you is the cheapest PSU i would trust to run a system.
also, you really should ignore customer reviews for PSUs because almost none of them know what they're talking about when they say "yay, this PSU is amazing." look for reviews by people like jonnyguru because they can have a look inside the PSU, see how good quality the stuff inside it is, test a bunch of things that you cant see that could blow the PC if they arent good enough, etc, etc.

if there is one part you dont want to skimp on its the PSU. not only will a cheap PSU blow up after 10 seconds of gaming and not only will it take out the motherboard, processor, and possibly some other stuff when it goes pop, but a cheap PSU will also cost a lot more in the long run because of its poorer electrical efficiency bumping your electric bill up

back to the build though. you want a £310 PC with OS to play games on. that is a very small budget for PC + OS so dont expect a lot:

i did try an intel build, but your budget is so low that i wouldnt have been able to get you a dedicated graphics card within budget, so i had to recommend an AMD llano because its the only cheap processor that has good onboard graphics that can cope with games

I decided, to look at Overclockers stuff, compare prices here and there, and have managed to get:
• AMD Bulldozer FX-4 Quad Core 4100 Black Edition 3.60Ghz (Socket AM3+) Processor-83.99
• AS Rock M3A770DE AMD 770 (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard-47.99
