Photo of a few bits im collecting, decided to get another dogbone mount for the sake of £7, the minimal cost out weighs the pain of trying to remove the old bushes from mine! Still need to order the polybushes for the dogbone mount though.
Still trying to get hold of a 2nd set of inlets to port and polish.
I'm tempted to get a 2nd set of wishbones, and get some strengthening plates welded on, paint them, and add the polybushes. When the cost of these parts are so minimal it makes sense to buy replacements, get them looking pretty and reduce the time the car is off the road. I believe cup cars use a similar setup with spherical bearings instead, while this would be way to hardcore for the road, polybushes should be a nice medium.
Car is going in for an MOT on tuesday, first time i've not really been worried, i've been fairly intimate with this car, so theres not really much i don't know about it
Only thing it could fail on are bushes as i know these are worn, but tyres, brakes, suspension, CV etc should all be fine. Airbag regs aren't in effect yet, so thats one problem off the list. Taking my cat + center silencer along for emissions test.
Fingers crossed nothing major is needed, silverstone booked for the 19th feb
