Nice to see so many people still play wow. I may self seem to be on it quite a bit these days. Play on thunderhorn eu. I am a warrior arms spec for pve and pvp. Gooseuk is the name.

Anybody using the 64 bit client yet?? Tried it yesturday and it seems a little bit of improvement on fps.

Need some advice.... NOOB here

I have brought the game digital copy and its still downloading the full content. However it still lets me play.

I have picked my a character and i am running around doing tasks but its a bit boring. It feels as if everyone is A.I and just no interaction  I change the world and its the same thing..

Ive reached level 5 now but i am not sure i can be bothered to continue.

What am i doing wrong, or is this WOW

Just started my rogue, level 42 in mostly heirloom stuff and just concentrating on levelling which means i am going to be terribly geared when i hit 85. Any hints and tips?

The last time i leveled was like 6 years ago back in the first week of vanilla, my guess is go combat + blade flurry everything up

I wish.. still have another few weeks to go before i hit stage 2! Will be interested to hear how you find them in raid environment. The proc does indeed seem a bit annoying (I'm also Sub MS)

Well the proc can be very annoying, unlike most legendaries (Thunder fury, the Fireland caster staff, shadowmourne) the proc tends to be automated into the weapon and becomes free bonus damage, however with this stupid dagger you really need to keep an eye on its up-time.

It can proc during shadow dance, it can proc during AR (which is not a massive loss), it can proc when you are running away from a boss on Hagaras totem, on Morchok's pull in, on BH boss when she enters blade storm.

So yeah once the proc is wasted and you have lost the agi stacks its can be kinda mehhhhhh, dont get why blizzard didn't make so that once the proc is triggered you have ten secs to use it, at-least this allows you some room to pop a find weakness or burn a AR/KS...

Got mine last night kinda disappointed by them tbh expected so much more :(

Tell me about it brother....

Thats WoW! i would say keep at it, but i dont think there would be much point :) I mean, in as much as you can tell anything from level 5, if you hate doing quests then mmmm, theres a lot of them and theyre going to get a lot longer and a lot harder before you hit 85. in fact thats MMOs in general.

To hit 5 should take you about half an hour with a levelling addon, whats your class? Mages chuck fiery stuff, rogues go invisible, druids shift form, paladins face roll... although none of that is going to be happening until you hit more levels. If none of this appeals to you, time to move on!

I cant talk for everyone but the reason I keep playing wow is the PvP, the addons, the auction house and the interesting spells on my mage. If you can keep at it till 10ish I would say give it a go, but there are plenty of people who just dont like WoW.

mostly flurry, but mixing it up with sub a bit at the moment depending on the quest, not killing stuff as fast but enjoying the premed practice. Reckon ill whizz through till 60 then start hitting the pvp hard, working on a half decent pvp set for 85. theres some noob rogue coming up behind me who has made it to late 30s in a couple of days so i expect to be overtaken pretty sharpish.

Thanks mate, im just not sure at the moment. The game is nice in terms of easy use but ive not qute taken to it.

If i was to go online as the same server as a friend can i meet them in the game?

At the moment i am like trapped in a courtyard with lots of wolfs attacking me lol

Yes you can chat and play with your friend on the same server.

Id give it until level 20 or so before you decide on sticking with the game or not, that will give you a chance to see some of the cities and interact with other players, both in the cities and/or in the dungeons that you can do.

Hey there, what server did you roll on?

If you wanted to make a char on Defias Brotherhood, horde side you could join the Bans Hammer guild that is starting again with some lovely folk from here. It's friendly and social.

In fact tonight a couple of us are planning on rolling level 1 chars so feel free to join us for that anyway. :)

I'm going to re-roll a toon on this realm tonight I think... If all goes well then I will transfer my other characters over (not really much happening on my realm despite it being well populated).

It might be worth getting peoples Real ID's if they are spread over different realms as this would allow us to form raids for past content (I think that is enabled in the next patch... or maybe its available now?)

I'd be tempted to give it a little longer than that... You can reach 20 in no time at all without doing very much.
