yes mine syncs to two email accounts, facebook, samsung account, whatsapp ect ect. 'Same as yours and everybody else's :p

Does anyone have accurate usage statistics for the internet and this phone for moderate browsing on YouTube/forums?

I am not sure if 500mb will be enough for the contract.
 
Does anyone know if CWM can be installed on MIUI? I liked using the app for quickly making backups and rebooting into recovery mode but i've no idea if thinks like CWM can be used with ROMs like MIUI.

Have a problem with dialling numbers. Will hit on the contact or number in the log, the phone freezes, will show the dialling pages 10 seconds later. Meaning it recognises that I asked it to make the call but takes a while to show the screen.
 
Guys, just a quicky on fw upgrading and what not if i may, i think i know what im doing but its always better to confirm eh :p

I rooted and unlocked the phone earlier today. Now as my phones on O2, im thinking of de branding it, is it a simple case of loading the stock samsung KJ1 kernel into odin - my phones already a KJ1 - do i just load the .tar file into the pda tab and off i go?

Also what rom are you guys using, not interested in ICS at the moment, as stability and battery life are my main goals, along with some prettyness. On my SGS I used to use darkyrom, how is that for the SGSII?

Just put on LPB now and as of yet no FC's, sammy's ICS rom is very nice now. Screen transitions are really great as well! Far far better than older versions.
 
After trying out MIUI i'd want to go back to Checkrom but there seems to be no recovery mode so i can restore the backup i made with CWM.

Is there a way to flash the backup on my phone rather than reflashing Checkrom via Odin?

it should still have cwm recovery ? maybe try the CWM app and 'reboot into recovery' option

I've went through so many rome that i can't remember the exact steps for each but I've only used odin once !

Just grab an unbranded KJ1 firmware from here & flash from odin(PDA): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113928

LPB has been leaked, it brings some UI tweaks and better battery performance so they say. It's been zipaligned, de-odexed and rooted (CF-Root LPB). Juat awaiting the upload before I try it :p

Apparently MHL doesn't work still, But the rest sounds promising. Especially about GPS lock!
