Popular Songs You Hate

Sweet Caroline - comes on at a party and everyone knows the words and sings along, except me who thinks the song is utter *#!%

Coldplay - but then they've only done one song anyway
 
I'm pretty tolerant when it comes to music but since it seems 'rappers' found Autotune there is so much *&^% out there, not that it was good to start with, but the only thing worse than crappy R&B is crappy R&B with some retard who needs Autotune to talk into a microphone.

When I look at some of the crap I listen to like Devildriver, Lamb Of God, Children Of Bodom , Slayer etc there's no way I can judge anything else.
There are bands & artists I don't like but that's a personality thing.

Thats where you and me differ Mr Poole, sure music is subjective but at least with most metal/rock there is passion and drive behind the music whereas most of the crap in the charts is manufactured for an audience.
 
99.% of Pop music/Indie ****. When I listen to Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs etc. It makes me want to punch someone!

I'm into my rock and metal and to me - most other music is utter crap. I used to listen to a lot of classical music myself though so it still has a place in my heart.
 
I actually do really like Coldplays first album, everything since then is basically a copy and meh. For me the first album was more, raw, with maybe just a younger mans not completely "honed" voice so it feels a bit more real and everything since is just, softer, overproduced, over practiced to the point where it feels sterile and lifeless.

To be fair I think that is true of 95% of bands, first album is kind of slapped together, low budget, years of work and song writing and everything after that is high budget, same 3 producers in the world, writen quickly over produced over practiced rubbish.

Most pop trash, I forget that ugly gits name who does dance music but every time I flick through the music channels(only ever during adverts of half time), there he is, with some crap dance tune(well, they are all crap but) and a different guest singer. The whose that girl thing with Rihanna, that guy, I actually hope that guy dies.

Oh, and Black eyed pea's and more specifically Will.i.am.a.*******.**** .

I'm fairly sure the line from an episode of the office(this years probably) from James spader was close enough to

"Black eyed peas are rock for people who don't like rock, rap for people who don't like rap, pop for people who don't like pop and dance for people who don't like dance"...... its just not music, its nothing, its generic crap which says nothing sounds like a mix of everything and could be, or probably was writen by some software for writing generic mix genre crap.

Whaaaaaaaaat how old are you? 21 Seconds is a classic.... brings back memories of school...year 9 or so I think...it was the song that propelled So Solid to be the current best UK MC's...although they couldnt quite make any more songs to match :p The beat is just sick..lyrics are a bit iffy in some places, but the whole thing together, amazing. Think its the only song where I know 90% of the words off by heart :p

For me I can't stand 'old' music like john lennon, beatles etc, basically what my dad likes lol

Adele- She comes over as a really down to earth and funny gitl when she is interviewed, its just her music that is trash.

Coldplay are just simply offensive to my ears, the world has never needed a band like coldplay, its never needed a front man who is as dull and uninspiring as Chris Martin.

Radiohead - One good song, everything else is random noise.
 
I just flat out can't stand rap, r&b, dance and most POP music. So basically radio one. I'll give anything else a listen though. However depressing whiney bands annoy me, such as Keane, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Travis etc etc.
