i found the same with Maicon, IF Iraola, IF Glen Johnson.

their work rates must all be high/low.

in a 4321 your already playing with 3 forwards against any normal team with 4 at the back, i can easily slice them open every time, i don't need my RB charging forward to help essentially leaving me with 3 at the back.

iirc Robert was the one saying there are no decent left backs in the game because their ratings are poor, imo it's the opposite there are no decent right backs in the game because their work rates are poor.

the only ones i can think of is Fanni, Abate and Richards
 
I had Alves and Marcello, both were a nightmare for being way too far forward was like having 2 at the back, gone with Maicon and Nagatomo now and they seem a lot more balanced with Chiellini and Silva in the middle, big difference from having a BBVA defence anyway.

tbh there is not much difference between them work rate wise, i think Alves and Marcelo are both High/Low whereas Maicon is High/Med, not sure on Nagatomo.

the only way to keep them back is to go defensive

I know whatcha mean, I guess as I play 4-2-2-2 I have mroe cover, Alves goes forward, but the 79 rated demigod in front of him - Roberto Carlos immediatetly drops back to a cdm/wingback position and really covers well, sometimes I get caught on the break and it's uust Lucio & Silva, but if it had to be only 2 defenders there, you'd want it to be those 2!

I love Maicon, I realy do, but he seems to wander, not surge, Alves speeds up the wing, usually overtaking Carlos & Kaka when he is just ai controlled, but then rushes back, Maicon just seems to float up the wing, staying near/behind Kaka (CAM) but then floats back with no sense of urgency, Alves goes a lot further, but comes back in 1/2 the time! Trouble with that is that he really knackeres himself out, so having Maicon on the bench for those times works out fine, cause by then the wingers are worn down a bit on the opposite team and Maicon holds his own so well against tired players!

and yeah, Senna is slow, thats why i didnt get on well with him :p

edit: on 2nd thought, i might not need the 50k loan, maybe 10k as Pique just got a bid for 43k :)

Just picked up the UP Enrique in 442, looking forward to using him later. It's good as my 79 Enrique hasn't be offloaded, it allows both of them as essentially they are two seperate cards.

So might keep the 79 for backup and get rid of Cliche.

You'd have to have one in the transfer pile whilst the other one is in the club though won't you? It's just the equivalent of a NIF and IF card?
