Whats he like in FUT12 over FUT11, bet hes a lot slower and not as nimble on the ball?
For a laugh Ill try him - no harm as Ive got the Villa team (bar silly priced Delph). He has the funniest EA ANT hiccups when he plays for me though, its like hes fighting mavity or something...
UP a still around Torres pricing, would rather have him but like to have a stepping stone player. Was thinking Suarez because of his passing, may try him out...
Really need some luck with packs tbh...

trying to grab an up ba myself but hes going for between 70 and 80k
what makes me sick sometimes is you work hard to buy a player then a few days later you get him in a pack
last week i spent a lot of coin and bought a bpl team well today the wife got me 2100 points cuz she loves me long time lol
anyways open jumbo packs and get the following
torres,nasri,tevez and yaya toure i bought all of these last week so got them up for trade now and ill just use the coin to buy ba
also got 4x 4-1-2-1-2 player formation cards which is unusual for me i always seem to get the 5-3-2 lol

i have him as a sub for my Newcastle squad and he is acc so good, pace may not be his best attribute but strength is immense.
his shooting is surprisingly good, long shots are fun to take with him
passings not too bad either, and heading, well all you need is to get the ball to him and its 9/10 he will hit the target.
my friends laugh at me because i have him
but i punish them by scoring sweaty goals with him when i play friendlies

he is slightly worse than his 11 version i think, but still a great player and cheap as chips, i mean nobody else is even close to him in that price range for quality maybe Anelka

Dzeko great player to have so strong on the ball and generally good in the air , although Chico rules as bpl striker behind augero

I dno, got Nilmar in my cheap Brazil side for the tourny and hes not that bad, though hes outscored by my wingers Wellington and Michel Bastos - the ST in 4321 doesnt seem to be a scorer but more a CF connecting play. Might even try someone like Delfonso there too..
Cheers for the advice guys - Ill save up for Nasri first then have a look at those ST suggestions - Dzeko would be interesting to test especially as I still trying to get my head around heading using 4321 - forms for me setup for far more centralised attacking than wide...

exactly the reason why i use IF Valero in ST in my 4321.
but i also find that the front 3 switch positions a lot throughout the match so your LW and RW and ST are constantly rotating sometimes.
so it is good to have someone who can still score as well as pass.
I was wondering if anyone could help me and I'm sorry if this question has been answered before but I'm a complete newbie to FiFA (this is the first time I have owned it and played it) and am really struggling with scoring and undertsanding Ultimate team. I've looked on the net and tried to replicate half of the videos on Youtube for skills and tutorials but fail miserably (hence I've never scored from a free kick).
To learn the series I played a season on semi pro and then a season on pro and did ok (mid table on pro) but struggled to score more than 1 to 2 goals a game on pro.
I then thought I'd make the step up to Ultimate Team so tried it for the first time yesterday and bought 2 gold packs just to get me started so I just put all of them in my team as well a player who's card is black called Kagawa (does the black mean anything?) The problem is every game I've played both locally and online I have been hammered and lost heavily.
This is my team here and as I said I have no idea what I'm doing and what half the consumables do.
I have about 4.8k of coins so would you sell or discard or start again? Are there any cheap beginner teams I could create by offloading my current team and are there any reccomended formations? I could even buy some more gold packs as I have some spare Microsoft Points if you guys think thats worth it.
Any help you could give would be great as I want to improve but find the lack of depth in the inbuilt tutorials not particularly helpful to a newbie to the series and my partner is going mad at me constantly swearing at the TV because I constantly lose

you need to pick a league or nationality and stick with that really to get high chemistry; your chemistry (in the top right) is really low, 48, and this will hinder you massively. Having players from the same league or nationality, in the right positions and with the right formations will make it higher.
Consumables-wise you have all sorts:
1. Contracts - players only have a certain amount of contracts on them, they use one per game, when you're out of contracts they can't play any more until you top them up.
2. Formation cards - change the formation of a player (used for chemistry purposes)
3. Position cards - change the position of a player (used for chemistry purposes)
4. Healing cards - your players can get injured in games; if you right bumper on the player in the squad screen you can see what type of injury and how long it will be and use the right healing card accordingly.
5. Morale / fitness / stat-boost - cards that either improve the morale or fitness of the players. Stat-boost cards improve one of your players stats for the next game.
To start off I would sell that Kagawa. He is a black card so he is In-Form, meaning he is worth quite a lot. Have a look on the market and sell him up, put him slightly lower than the rest if you want a quick sell. He goes for about 55k, which is quite good.

As Stewy said, sell the Kagawa card, if you got him in a pack this week, that means it is his SIF (Second inform) Who is actually worth about 80K on xbox, 95k on PS3.
Chemistry works in multiple ways as said above, a dark green line means the players play in the same league, or are from the same country, a light green line means they have 2/3 of the following in common: Nationality, League, Club.
Managers also affect chemistry, having a manager in the correct formation for your team will yiled +10 Chemistry, and each player the same nationality as the manager will yield +1 chemistry for the team.
Try to always keep your players Morale above 90 and fitness above 85, any lower and they don't seem to play as well and do tire easily.

Basically the 3 CMs end up being good passers of the ball with the LCM and RCM able to cut in, but have good pace; while the CM just acts as a CDM. Nasri has 4 star weak foot so should be fine on the left if I ever use him to cross (not a big crosser) and good enough to ping balls and take players on - could see who else I could use at normal peoples coin amounts (30k)...
Completely unsure about my LW/RW - wanted to try them out cos of their base stats. Cheap enough to sell back without cost...
Why a ST Suarez could work fine - there is a lot of position changing and none of my forwards are tall or great with headers - might have to remedy that at some point. Why I was originally after 3 STs but the chemistry hit seems to be too big :/ - think EA ****ed up here by not dark greening CFs to play RW/LW which really are RF/LF in 4321 and would have worked fine in FUT11...
