Sorry Duke but I don't think we're on the same hymn sheet as I view those two suggestions in exactly the same way as the other one :)

Technically I don't even like MSE but I make a special exception for it because at least it is produced by Microsoft who know what they're doing in the kernel. Unlike most of these other cowboys.
 
OK so its down to 2 paid versions and MSE, the paid versions being Avast and Eset, would I be looking at Nod32 version and use the Windows firewall.

I think I will try out MSE first, then see what the trial version of the other 2 are like.

One question about MSE, I was reading the system requirements and apparently Google Chrome isnt supported, only IE8 and Mozilla Firefox??

Does this mean I wont get real time monitering if I use MSE because of my browser?

thanks for all your suggestions, however it seems I have started a bit of a fued, at least I didnt ask Nvidia ar ATi lol

Nonsense. Chrome is definitely supported. :)
