New Sony NGP/Vita Screen shots, videos, and news (embargo now lifted)

EA did a study and found that 50% of handheld gaming was done at home so I'd guess yeah. There have been countless times at home when the wife was watching something I've have loved to have the Vita already!

Hmm I can see your point, I don't have that issue so maybe thats why I've been thinking its not worth it

Do you mean they were trying to get you to look at it without you asking? or you asked and they had one there to play on straight away?

Well sort of, "Here look at THIS!!!! oooo isn't it awesome?!?!?!?" and then just dumped it in my hands, and of course being mildly interested in getting one and hearing so much about it i wasn't going to resist getting a chance to play with one so early.

Ahh ok.

Playstation Access have posted a map online which shows exactly where every Game and Gamestation is that has a Vita for people to play with.

So what do people think is the best bundle at the moment? i've had a look at the amazon bundle and if i am honest i dont want any of the games there (too lazy to sell unwanted game and put money towards something i want; i just want to buy and play), just the 8gig card. The Morrisons is still look good to me, Play also have a decent combo.

Morrisons for me is the clear winner as long as you shop there, the £25 voucher is very generous they are also the only company to do a AAA game with a pre-order, you can easily sell FIFA if you do not want it..

4GB is not great but not the end of the world

The amazon deal does not require you to get a game, the card is just free with every Vita. So while the bundle isn't as good if you don't get the game, if you don;t want the game you don't lose out per say.

The Morrisons deal is great value if you have one locally. You can always take the game to Game to just trade it in. They'll probably give you a great price that early on as they'll sell it for £2 less than the new copy.

I'll quite happily play fifa, hopefully they'll be selling games in store aswell, can't say i really shop there but there is one pretty close to me would pick up another game with vouchers.

They should do. If they sell everything else there then I can't beleive they wouldn't.

The £25 card you get from Morrisons you get once your transaction is complete (IE you can't put it towards that transaction). So if you want a game as well you'l probably be best to go through the checkout twice.

looks like they might get my business then heh, will wait to the last minute (pre orders up to the 15th) to see if i see any more deals that tickles my fancy.

Morrisons is closer to me than going to game/gamestation.. and certainly closer than picking up a missed parcel.

you can order online with no deposit, so if you dont collect by 26th it just goes back into stock

Is that the MGS HD PS3 game being played via remote?

Seriously getting the itch to place an order now. So many deals, each with pros and cons. The last piece of the puzzle is the cost of digital games. If these are discounted enough then I may get a a larger Memory card and buy less physical games, if not maybe a bundle with a small Memory card and 1 or 2 physical games.

Morrison's deal looks pretty good to me, but surely Sainsbury's/Tescos/Asda will match/better it?

No, that is MGS HD running on the Vita. He did say that they were releasing it on the Vita.

Apparently morrions tend to be the most gressing on pre order deals to drive sales, Tescos and others tend to join in after that. Though with Tescos Entertainment you get 8% cachback from Quidco.

Nice, I'll try and include videos to every game in the OT when It goes live (The 10th probably) as well as bits like that!

Ok.. I gave in... Preoredered Morrisons deal :)

Welcome to the gang ;)

Uncharted.

EDIT:

For anyone wanting 32GB memory cards you can now order them from planetaxel for roughly £65 posted WITH NO CHANCE OF EXTRA TAX.

They clearly state on their site that they have distribution centres in the UK and other European nations and all taxes and stuff are already accounted for in the price you pay.

needless to say I have cancelled my other order and just got one from these guys as it's easy enough to order yourself if you want one :)
