Torn Rotator cuff, will find out in the next week or so if they wanna operate.
My D3 has also seen better times

I was lucky with my rotator cuff injury in October, minor fracture to the humerus bone where the tendon tried to tear away but no surgery and physio has me almost as good as before.

Did they just do a sonogram to check you out?
I'm sh!tting bricks here hoping they don't do that thing where they inject dye into your shoulder to get the visuals.

I got my appt with the radiologist sometime this week.

Just remember it was all worth it to immortalise yourself in the big bike thread on Overclockers.

FSR is £1399 here with Medium and Large instock if their website is up to date. http://www.mcconveycycles.com/store/product/12658/specialized-stumpjumper-fsr-comp-medium-2011/

Both seem to be real bricks and mortar shops too. Be interesting to know if it is shop/boxed stock or order from the distributor. If the latter, then you local specialized dealer should be able to source them and price match in theory.

i bought my first bike (marin stinson)from them about 20yrs ago now when i was a student - family business still going strong

That's good to hear. I'm trying to fins somewhere local so I can collect one, think I fancy the FSR over the Canyons though. Going to try and get one sorted this week :)

Crow!!! I'm playing catch up here....

That was one hell of a crash  Unlucky mate! Kudos for the second attempt though.

Hope you heal up soon, sounds nasty :(

If I'd run it at a more sensible angle I'd probably have had to chop down the hose a bit, plus even if I didn't it might have needed bleeding so I couldn't be bothered to at the time. Still can't be bothered now :p

Yeh the front ones massive, I had a look into shortening it when I put them on but it seemed a lot of faffing about to do so I left it. :(

It's really simple to do:

The video makes it look easy because it is. :)

X-Rays didn't show the bone fracture for me, needed an MRI. That's just lie very still for 30 minutes in a very loud enclosed space.

Enclosed spaces don't bother me, pointy things do :D

Cheers mate, we live and learn hey. Been going over and over it in my mind, and the old cheesy saying is true - go big or go home ( or - when in doubt, go flat out). I went over it the second time, so lackluster, I deserved what I got.

Just went to ask about my bike order today, and when I'd get it, ummmm mid-April :O lol ahh well changed my order and should have a bike by the end of the week hopefully.

I've done it before on my old m4's but still it's not enough of a problem to spend the half hour it'll take to find the bits and do it. Canyon seemed to think it was ok to as the Elixirs were similar.

It's purely aesthetics. I completely re-did the cable and hose routing on my YT. Just because a bike comes like that doesn't make it right. ;)

Ordered a new set of wheels yesterday, so that i can build my old frame up into a commuter bike, instead of using my C456. I'll be able to leave it locked outside the gym too then (don't leave the 456 anywhere). Also be able to leave my off road tires on the 456, instead of having to mess around changing them at the weekends.

Shimano MT15 for £56 delivered from Rose cycles. I know these are a budget spec wheel with centre lock hubs, but for £56 there amazing value.

Anyone used these before?
