Spec me a ridiculously cheap Android phone!

As title, looking for my aunt who's using a terrible LG cookie at the moment (its really bad as I'm sure you are aware)

So, spec me a phone! Cheaper the better, all it'l be used for is calling/texting .. taking some crappy pictures and some very basic web browsing.

Been looking at the £100ish Orange san fran 2, and the T-mobile equivalent but £100 might be pushing it (yeah, cheap i know :p)

So, advice? :)
 
Monte Carlo with CM7, anything cheaper isn't worth considering tbh as a "smartphone" and it's better than all the phones in the same price range (san fran 2, etc).

you do also have to take into fact the MC will be able to be re-sold in a years time for pretty much what you paid for it on ebay. Essentially making it £10-£30 to use it for a year excluding the tariff.

I don't think you will find a cheaper phone than that tbh.

yea i use it for endomondo

accuracy usually goes to around 5-10ft using a gps test app but it tracks pretty well with endomondo

I bought a Monte Carlo maybe a month or so ago, Unlocked & installed a custom rom & I'm well happy with it in use, All for less than a Hundred quid an all. :cool:
