The Butterfly Effect - 9/10

Watched the original version, not the directors cut, as really dislike the ending to that version.

Sometimes we watch a film and switch off, sometimes some of us live a film and never switch off.... superb! This is one name that won't crop up at the Oscars (as are so many) but yet should.

I'm amazed at how many people on here prefer the US Office to the UK Office.

The US Office was very good apart from the first season. No one can disagree with that as it was completely identical to the UK first series and so most of the jokes didn't translate well. It picked up when the writers were given more freedom.

But, in my opinion, the UK Office is the best sitcom of all time. Every time I watch it I am in awe at how perfect it is.

The Lincoln Lawyer.

Was better than I expected, for some reason I was wondering if it was mostly set in his car

, and it turned out to be a pretty good court roomish drama.

Just finished watching Part 2 "Public Enemy". I really liked both these movies, if you like gangster movies then these two are up there with the best.

Also a true story, amazing the life this guy had.

Ran - One of Akira Kurosawa's last films, set in medieval Japan and elderly warlord decides to split his lands between his three sons trusting that they will live in peace. The peace doesn't last long! It is a long slow film but entertaining and overall tragic. 3/5

I watched 'Going the Distance' last night just because I love Charlie Day from IASIP. It was OK for about an hour a bit cliche but the ending was kinda rushed. 6.5/10

Saw a screener of new "found footage" horror flick Evidence and MAN it kicks ass. Starts off like your generic run and scream/what-the-hell-was-that/omg spooky noises in the woods type thing before it goes absolutely ******* NUTS for the final third. Blew me away by the finish.

Released on March 12th on DVD for anyone interested.
