Firstly I would like to say hello as I am new here. I was guided to OverclockersUK by a friend who has pointed me this way to buy my new pc to replace the one I took back today for a full refund.
Now although I got the refund I am still perplexed as to what was the problem, and I have been trying to get to the root of it for a few months and the PC was back and forth to the shop I bought it from like a Yo yo!
The thing is the PC was i7 and the GPU was the Navidia 560 and it was 8GB ram. However intermittently it behaved as is evident in the video here [awaiting editing link coming back in 30 mins
]
We changed the GPU card and I brought it home and it still did it, so we tried and changed and tested one by one the ram...the motherboard..the processor...the HDD's..the case with a bigger PSU and it still occasionally did this?
I thought it might have been software conflict until I formatted and put a clean install bare bones Win 7 Ultimate 64bit once even without anti virus, all I installed was the motherboard and sound drivers and the up to date graphics drivers and yes I also tried the last 4 releases in case one of them suited my set-up better.
All of us here have no idea, but I'm hoping someone amongst you has seen this before and knows what causes it?
Thank you and I look forward to your replies
P.s I'm also looking forward to my new shiny PC from Overclockers in Portsmouth this coming weds
