How does one take out of that "yob culture", deary me the Americanisation of the UK is ripe, using big snazzy titles to make it interesting.
Admittedly most of the jokes are simply not on, but some people deal with death with humour, it is a psychological fact.
How is it a snazzy word? the term Yob has been getting used as far back as I can remember in the 80's, even thug(s)/thuggery. Most of them are rude, crude, disrespectful, love to mock and get kicks out of it, even people that are disabled/disabilities and then the racial insults. Look at comedians nowadays, hardly anything funny except constant cursing and derogatory behaviour. It's nothing to be proud of. The majority of the public pick up on this and think it's cool because everyone else does it. So in their view that makes it ok. "It's what we do"
You use to get locked up for cursing in the street. Now comedians get paid to do it. Thats some standard.
The standards have been lowered so far it's a disgrace to the country. Then if anyone speaks out against these type of people, it's hiding behind human rights rubbish. The conduct nowadays really is a disgrace. There's just no courtesy anymore, well there is some but it's too few.
Apparently so many people growing up were never taught respect, they certainly were not taught not to mock the dead. You just don't disrespect the dead. Do these people turn up in droves at funerals shout out abusive names and rude hand gestures? so why should they do it behind a computer screen or over handhelds.

Check out V F, the moral arbiter of society. Who apparently doesn't think there's a difference between turning up at a funeral and hurling abuse at grieving family members and making jokes with friends or on the internet. I get what you mean about it being disrespectful but it's hardly the same thing. Nor is making jokes about death a necessarily bad thing.

Partly because they suddenly have everything thrown at them (the good and the bad) and no one teaches them how to deal with the crap stuff.
They often also end up perfoming because that's the only thing they're good at (in the same way that footballers do) and often don't have the brains and knowledge in other areas to cope with saying no, and being able to stay away from the bad.

Drugs are there to save lives, and even recreational ones have their uses.
Doing drugs is fine, its OVERDOING drugs that kills people.

Taking drugs because you have a medical need for them is smart.

Talbs13, I am not offended at all about this, and it personally doesn't bother me. However, I have the level of respect and control to not be disrespectful, celebrity or not, and I have no need to be rude towards someones death.
Someone should have told Indiana Jones that before he bothered looking for the Holy Grail. Just stay off the drugs, duh!
