I always played him with another quick striker, like Hernandez. Super fast players are easy to use and always score goals but Rooney's just so good at everything.

Holt L2 (or whatever you have the skill button mapped to) and pass backwards I believe. Some players do it automatically.

I've tried this dozens of times and still cant seem to do it!

My pro just passes backwards with a quick turn (which generally makes him fall over!)

No thats wrong - backheel isnt a skill move, just something a skillful player does - its a dog to get them to do a backheel usually when they are low rated.

I presume youve got 5* skills so best bet is to max out their ball skills and keep trying to pass it to them with another player behind the VP and quick pass it to encourage the backheel

Its not something worth worrying about tbh, it will probably happen without you trying for it...

best thing to do is, play with the custom settings so your pass error is 0.

bring your pro back into your own half and then stop 5-10 yards in front of a full back or centre back.

you then press one of the top buttons so your player turns to face goal.

you then simply keep that button pressed and press pass and back towards the defender.

do this until you have completed the achievement.

do this in an offline exhibition match with the minimum level needed to pass and all the CPU error rates put to 100 and their speed to 0

Why would 0 pass error have any effect on the type of pass produced? Its far more about the situation than the inherent quality of the pass...

So again how would that produce a better chance of doing a backheel? I dont think that accomplishment even needs the pass to be completed either and as they are short passes the likelyhood of them not completing is slim, its far more contextual.

i think they need to be completed iirc, it just makes it a lot easier to do achievements on a whole, as you can easily get the ball to your pro to do achievements.

so it makes practically every achievement easier to do.
