I think its quite clever of them, as long as the price point is relatively low.

How so? the specs are pretty much identical. I'm talking tab plus not tab 7.7.

Its not identical... the Tab Plus 7.0 as an Exynos premium device is one notch down from the 7.7, and this is a notch below that.

The pricing has not been officially announced, and the specs are lower than the plus. I don't see what is too difficult to grasp here. And yes, exynos is a premium SOC.
