Far Cry 3 Details

From what I have seen with the first trailer. It looks very repatative with these moves of stealing some blade and using it against the enemy.

This won't be on my pre-order list, will wait till the reviews come out and maybe when its dropped its price. :(
 
Open World: Go wherever you want but you have to go here and oh, you can only really drive on these dirt roads with random/nonstop spawning encounters.
Stealth: Up to 20m
Ambushes: From 21m
Creative Approaches: From a bush!
to Combat: Oh, really?
Personal Storyline: Had to fit in one buzz!

Sorry FC2 kinda ruined it, I wish I'd have pirated it out of spite, waste of money.
 
Far Cry 2 had very interesting ideas - freedom, setting wild fires that spread with wind. It had great gfx too. But ABYSMAL level design, AI and plot have absolutely killed it. Hope Far Cry 3 wrights the wrongs and it could be a fantastic game!

It received horrid support too. The killer for me was that checkpoint guards respawned.
 
Well produced if totally uninspired trailer that tells us.... nothing!

Far Cry 2 was a plop rocket. I would be very pleased to see them claw something back...but I wont hold my breath.
 
Im really interested in this, never played far cry 2 after hearing all the bad reports, loved the first one tho.
Think this has some great ideas, just need to wait and see if they can implement them in the game properly.

Yeah i used to play a lot of MP in 1 was not in a clan tho

I paid a lot of £££ for a ATI 9800XT to play this on full settings, Back then it was wow as you said not now lol
 
Ubisoft yeh, vote with me wallet with that company. To be honest, seeing the earlier footage of Far cry 3 and seeing that every time they killed a AI a "+3" points came up, was pretty obvious what crowd they're catering for.

Yeh totaly, but sounds a bit different if done right.
If i got dropped on a island and had to start killing people (fior whatever reason) am guessing i would start getting better at it after a while eg leveling up.
This coming from a man that has never played a rpg of sort in my life :)

I'd build a monument of the guy who invented that stuff - with a plaque " Please spit here". Uurgh! I remember how Mafia2 addons were ruined by this:mad:
