Am I mad?

What's the prediction for 2nd hand value around this time next year?
I woud be happy if I can resell it for £150 next year that can be used for a new handset.
 
I'm disappointed in you r kid, you should've gone for the iP4S!

Even if they release a new design iP5, you could easily sell and recoup a big chunk of the money towards the cost of buying the sim free version.

Well, that's it ordered. Now to play the waiting game with credit checks, delivery and cashback. Can't wait! I've had a play with this phone a few times. It was either this or the Nexus S but the Nexus doesn't come cheap.

Your desire is bigger and a lower res compared to the 4s. the s2 is even bigger at the same resolution. The 4s screen certainly isn't anything like as restrictive as you are trying to suggest, in fact its better than the s2 for some things because of that extra resolution. I certainly don't feel like im missing out on anything when I've used the GF's 4s and I own an S2.

Leave it... I like physically bigger screen rather than a small one even though it is "slightly" higher res, makes it all the difference when watching youtube video clips and I'll end it with In My Opinion.

lol, yes good answer. It's not 'slightly' higher res, its about 60% higher.

As much as I agree an ip4s is a bad choice for the OP, your reasons are poor frankly. Enjoy your s2, remy, if it was a bad phone I wouldnt have bought one at launch.

The day I own something by Apple will be the day they offer the handset free on a 12/18 month contract ;)
 
Hmm.. Ordered last nigth and got the confirmation email straight away but had nothing today. Maybe they can't be bothered because it's friday? As long as my contract doesn't start until it's shipped..
 
Did you order the SGS2?

I was informed even though I'd get the phone imminently I wouldn't have any money debited from my account for 4-6 weeks, for Vodafone is this true?

Just installed and had a go of GTA3 on mine, I'm impressed :D
 
yeah ordered the SGS2. Just got the email saying they received my order and that next is a credit check then delivery etc. Thought i might be able to track the order on the website but should have expected less tbh. The whole website is shocking. Some of the support sections don't work at all.

Oh well, Guess I'll know more on Monday!
