FPS games used to make me proper rage but that was when I had 6-8 hours a day to play them and took them way too seriously.
Nowadays I am pretty chill about them just because I have no expectation of being anything more than sort of OK at them.
EVE makes me rage when I lose ships due to people I am flying with.
I can whelp an ship into a gang solo and be pretty sanguine about losing it.
If you never fail you are not pushing yourself hard enough. At least it's a learning experience when you fail.
OTOH losing even cheap stuff because I am accidentally flying with stupid people annoys me a lot.
Much better to fly solo than with people I cannot count on. At least on my own I have a good idea what I am capable of.
I don't know what particular button it pushes but it definitely does something.
