Crucial m4 ssd 64gb

64gb version - 95 MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s)
128gb version - 175 MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s)
256gb version - 260 MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s)
512gb version - 260 MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s)

512gb version - 260 MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s)

I thought that the latest firmware had increased these figures?

64gb version - Sequential Write (up to): 110MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s)
128gb version - Sequential Write (up to): 220MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s)
256gb version - Sequential Write (up to): 300MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s)
512gb version - Sequential Write (up to): 300MB/sec (SATA 6Gb/s)

Maybe it has. I got those details from the file 'Tech_specs-letter_Crucial_m4_ssd_v3-11-11_online.pdf'

Either way, the 64gb version is twice as slow (for writes) as the 128gb version

Or rather, the 128GB is twice as fast as the 64GB version. Don't think SSD and slow should be mentioned in the same sentence (unless it's a cheapo one) :p

In any case, the correct figures are as Surveyor mentioned:

64GB: 110MB/s
128GB: 220MB/s
256 and 512GB: 300MB/s

The M4 is not the fastest SSD out there, but it does have excellent value for money, and has a reputation for the best reliability along with Intel drives. 90% of people on here will recommend one when asked which SSD to go for.

Someone at OcUK did do a benchmark comparison review of a few drives, can't seem to find it at the moment..

Anyone got a link?

The M4 came out as one of the top two drives I think. Despite having slightly lower manufacturer quote speeds

Here's my 64gb M4 results
