Am I missing something or, is it not better that people into child pornography feel safe and post stuff in a stupid and public place where they can be watched and caught rather than "going underground" and posting stuff on unknown forums privately and quietly?
IE they post constantly on this site, and they feel safe, and unknown to them the police are watching carefully putting together evidence, links of where uploads came from links of who is involved and pick them up one by one.
Sometimes its better to have the pervs out in the open rather than all looking over their shoulder and hiding what they do.
When people feel safe, they get stupid(er), make mistakes and make far far less effort to hide who/what they are.
The problem with campaigns against this kind of thing is, people can't think logically and realise how much better it is for people to be out in the public and get caught. People decide they can't possibly keep their mouths shut, they HAVE to tell the internet the story gets out and the people who post............ stop posting, child porn DOES NOT STOP. You just help these people realise they have to hide, nothing more or less.
You see child porn, or any area involved in child porn, YOU TELL THE POLICE, QUIETLY, so they can catch moronic and disgusting peado's rather than send them into hiding.
But no, people want their outrage to be public, being publically outraged obviously does far more good than actually catching peado's.
One of the major problems with the world, its far easier to shout really loudly about something you don't like, then actually do something about something you don't like.
