cpc22-watf10

Sorry I don't really know about specific areas other than Watford (at least my segment).

Hmm, I'm cpc2-watf10, the first bit must be important too...

After a few more emails with Andy in their complaints department who has been superb, I mentioned I had a spare Superhub. He suggested giving it a go as it may put me on a differentl and less congested network. I'm now on cpc2-watf10 so will see what it's like. I've also set up a new Thinkbroadband monitor.

An E60 M5 :)

Nice. Any chance of a p ride lol? I may be buying one in 8-14 months. :D

Ok... so I put it into modem only mode and it put me back onto cpc22 (which has been poor for me). Rebooted into normal mode and now on cpc26 and just had the following results:

I didn't get chance to do many tests on cpc10. I will continue to investigate.

After multiple reboots, it seems that my superhub will only connect to cpc22 when in modem mode, and it will connect to cpc26 or 10 in normal mode. I've emailed Andy a few more times and he says when it's in normal mode it will connect to the best available network. Seems like it's not doing it in modem mode and going straight onto cpc22. Now I don't work for Virgin and I don't know how true it is but those having issues who use their own router, try using the superhub alone and see if it helps your issue.

I've set up a new monitor on thinkbroadband.

Anyone else getting high pings to the likes of Multiplay and bbc.co.uk?

Seems to be link 9 the ping just jumps. Although not "high" it's still causing me problems in games.

Well i've received a letter saying that the cost of my 50Mb line is going up £2.50

50Mb is the maximum here in Norwich, and we're not going to be upgraded to 100mb until October 2012-July 2013

Anyone had any troubles with Xbox Live recently? Had Superhub for about a month now. Playing Xbox and everything else has been perfectly fine. Ever since the recent xbox patch though I've been getting random disconnects from Xbox Live every 30 mins or so.

Wouldn't be such a big issue but in the middle of a FIFA game and I drop out of the game with my mates. I've tried resetting the network settings on xbox live and disabling Port Flooding in the Hub options. Since I changed the port flooding I haven't technically had any issues, but I only played for about 40 minutes and it can be random. Just to clarify, I am using a wired connection and not Wireless

Virgin have told me that I cannot cancel the TiVo and phone line but only the braodband. The issue with this is that it puts my bill up to just under £100 from £67.50 due to the bundle discount. I have mailed back asking once again if I can cancel it all so I can move over to Infinity and Sky HD.

I've had Live disconnecting randomly as well since the update. I assumed it was MS being flaky as my connection has been fine for everything else.

I received a letter saying the price of my bundle service (I have no such thing, just BB) was going up by £1.50 and that paper bills would be 25p extra and if I wanted to save £1.75 then I should sign up for direct debit and online billing (already done ages ago).

Weird.
