Who here owns a Renaultsport?

If I haven't bought by then, I'll get hold of you. I was fairly stuck on getting an MX5, then more I looked the more I thought about going for a Z4. However, the fact that these are so cheap makes them very tempting - alberit quite the different car!

Just need to find the time to testdrive a few different things and see what I like.

No worries! I'll be doing a LOT of driving when I get back anyway :)

I blame CS for these prices.

Helloooo Simon :D

And i totally agree, CS have ruined the prices because they're stupid!

They complain about chavs getting in them because of lower prices, yet theyre the ones lowering them!! (and are chavs)

edit: just been going over the past few pages of the thread, funny to see so many familiar names in here too :D

What a brilliant day sunday! Brilliant weather, although a bit bloody cold! Some seriously metal on track, three skyline GTR's, mclaren mp4-12c, ferrari f430 gt, GT3, 997 turbo, just to name a few, plus many other random race cars! Car performed excellent once again, still a slight issue with brakes, after 30minutes they were cooked, really need to start looking seriously into some brake ducts i think. Another thing i noticed, and im slightly annoyed as i was expecting an improvement, was the car seemed to understeer more easily since fitting the solid top mounts and strut. Is it possible that the front is too stiff compared to the back now? It certainly feels like the front is struggling considerable more than the rear now, which it didn't before. Apart from these few niggles, had noodles of fun, i really do bloody love this car, some of the stuff it was keeping up with made me chuckle.

Edit: Forgot to mention the track, one word comes to mind if i had to describe it, overrated. Don't get me wrong it was great fun, but it just seemed a bit bland in a car like mine. Came across as a proper F1 track.

This was what I had shamefully been 'rollin' in.

I don't know what the previous owner was thinking with the wheels or the carbon bullets, front diamond or dash strips, which have been returned to standard since these photo's.

Had them powder coated by Max Powder and Hankook V12's put on whilst they were at it:

The center cap match is quite a way off but Kirk ( At Max Powder) offered to re do them but dropping them off and picking them up is a bit inconvenient so I'll do them myself when I have time.

New floor mats and boot carpet are needed and the center console could do with being replaced too.

Remap next and will fit the DS2500's and lines.

Looking at getting a 182 at the moment, missed out on the 3 I've called about so far :(

A very nice looking Inferno on CS, just not sure I want to buy a car with relatively high mileage (73k, on a 2004 plate), it's also got a decatted Miltek ..

Tempted!

Over priced, well i would say that is the price it should be if CS hadn't of caused them to drop ridiculously low. Always wanted an inferno, i love the colour, if you can get it for 3K would be a good deal.

Looking good alexisonfire. Confirmed what I thought about Silverstone though, its just to big for a Clio. However, I still want to go, just so I can say I have done it.

Places like Brands and Cadwell seem more suited to a Clio.

@ Simon - I'm buying one already in Monaco Blue so I dont have to worry about a Titanium spoiler on a Iceberg car :p

@ Mike - How are you finding the cup shocks now they've been on for a while? I need something stiffer on my car I think, so much more roll than there was on my Koni'd phase 1.

A mate of mine has a set of trophy rear dampers I could get reasonably cheaply, just not sure what to match them with at the front? As I cannot afford standard Trophy stuff, especially as I'll have to change the hubs.
