Impressive! So did they remove all that metal after the bones healed up?
all there with the exception of some of the meral in my elbow.
Neat trick to find out is run a wire detector along my arm and see if it beeps! lol
Thigh bone/femur has been replaced by a nail as such and the bone will grow around it.

a lot of my injuries seemed to happen when i was growing up in Canada, probably due to the fact that i was much more athletic minded then than i am here.
Same here, 28 & the worst I've done is stubbed my toe really really hard.I'm nearly 38 and haven't had any injuries to talk of. Certainly nothing serious. Nothing even slightly serious. Actually, come to think of it, barely anything minorNo broken bones, no stitches, no time in hospital for any reason at all. The worst I can think of is a few scrapes falling off my BMX when I was a kid.....and pulling my hamstring playing footy. Seriously, that's it.
And yes, I do actually leave the house
EDIT: Watch me go and crash into a bus on the way home...

Never had another worse than a cold & headache either illness wise - can't complain.
I used to climb trees, ride bikes, go out 24/7 & still get drunk pretty often when out with friends.
I'm either,
A = Really lucky.
Or
B = Bruce Willis from "Unbreakable"
Modern metal detectors don't detect them anymore, i have a letter in my passport for mine though as it contains a magnet. But that is coming out this year.
