Saw this thread yesturday, just reinstalled it i havent played it for over a year. Great game, never finished the campaign so ill make sure i do it this time. Ive got the expansions, is the campaigns any good on that?

Is it correct that they all contain the same multiplayer and skirmish maps, just different single-player campaigns?

get tales of valor, it has all the multiplayer u need, ie the new units and 2 other factions, u wont have the origonal or opposing front campaigns

Tales of Valor (ToV) is a good base because althouigh it will get heavily patched when you log on, its not half as bad as starting from Opposing forces.. or .. before.

Do you need ToV to play online these days? Had moved on to DoW2 by the time that was released so never bought it... Wouldn't mind playing this again though as it was a true classic.

I do wish there was at least one map with a true chokepoint; that would lead to epic concentrated carnage!

Just finally won my first game online! Felt quite impressed that I wasn't on bottom for Units and the map controlled for once.

I have vanilla and the first addon with the new races... i cant believe the 2nd addon would add new units specific to people with that addon.. surely they must be included in a patch that was included within the addon
