ANOTHER shooting at a US school

Yeah, those damn Americans, that show Geordie Sho.... oh wait.

The simple solution to gun ownership isn't the control of the firearm it's the control of the amunition, it would work particularly well in a country with laws like the UK.

Illegal ammunition is easier to obtain in this country than firearms. It's a lot harder to restrict the smaller a ammunition than the larger firearms.

Im from the US and have been living here for the past 5 years -
Can pretty much sum up the issue ...

1. Too many guns in the US (and no need for them) ... you are going to have problems ... there are so many pro gun people in the US and when something like this happens they blame 'the people' yet as many of you know give people the means and things will 'happen'.

I dont like all the gun violence in the states and IMO there are too many guns. There are so many arguments why this or that IMO its pathetic. People are dying needlessly; heck at least in the UK they got to stick you with a knife and there is a bit of defense with that.

Anf they still use the argument the right to carry because of the what was it when the brits 'owned' america ... so therefor its just 'bad people' when your son or daughter gets shot in school ...

and like most people said here - easy access and the fact things arnt frowned on enough you get shootings in school.

I like guns, but that doesn't mean I think it should be easily accessible.
In Jersey (not NJ) attempting to even have a license to own a .22 rifle is an amazing feat of red tape itself.

I agree that they need to be more regulated in most states.

I doubt this is the problem. We have easy access to knives, doesn't mean we get "regular" knife massacres in schools does it?

you don't tend to get regular knife massacres period - (well except that nursery incident) as people tend to be able to run away from mad men on a knife rampage.

Tis naive to think that the fact there is such easy access to guns and the highest number of guns per capita of anywhere in the world isn't perhaps a factor.
