What's your skincare & grooming routine?

Go to bed, wash face with water only after brushing teeth and mouthwash. Sometimes I do my ears, i.e. clean them out!

Wake up exactly same as above minus ear cleaning! And apply gel/putty to my hair. Done in less than 5 mins :)

Have very good skin and always have, no spending silly money on soaps and spot cream :)

Here's my routine:
  1. Facewash. Usually Neutrogena senstive skin facewash or dove sensitive skin bar. I find the sensitive skin kind washes off easier.
  2. Toner. Right now I'm using Clinique "scruffing lotion 2.5" which is basically a less gay way of saying clarifying lotion. I'm not sure I like it because it has alcohol in it, I will switch to a non-alcohol toner when it's used up.
  3. Exfoliate. Paula's Choice 1% BHA on my neck line where I get razor bumps and on my nose.
  4. Moisturizer. In the morning I use Neutrogena Visibly Even with SPF30. At night I use Clinique or Paulas Choice moisturizing gel.
  5. I mechanically exfoliate twice a week simply using a washcloth with facewash and rubbing gently. I don't really like those exfoliators with the gritty stuff in it. Occasionally I use biore pore strips on my nose which is prone to tiny backheads. The BHA helps also with that.

This is verging on feminine. Yes some guys take pride in their appearance and use products to reflect that but just wow. You use more cleansing products than my girlfriend.

For me. Wake > Shower > Shave > Aftershave > Teeth > Deodorant > Dress.

So do you wearing a dress, short dress yeah??!!! :p :D

You must be a women or a poof

Ever thought of all the dodgy chemicals your plastering on and absorbing through your skin? A lot of which are oestrogen mimics and endocrine disruptors?

...preservatives called parabens that are found in many shampoos and conditioners — act like hormones and are linked to reproductive and development problems in infants...

...Because scents can be considered trade secrets, hundreds of ingredients can be lumped together under the heading of "fragrance." Some fragrances are made with endocrine-disrupting chemicals called phthalates, several of which are listed as reproductive or developmental toxins...

...Fragrance, which often is included in ingredient lists as a catch-all term for dozens of chemicals, including phthalates...

...Sunscreens, which may contain estrogen-like chemicals...

...Sodium laurel/laureth sulfate, a surfactant...is often contaminated with the carcinogenic substance 1,4 dioxane

Mine’s a tried and tested routine. Wake, wash body, wash hair, wash teeth, do armpits, sniff clothes and get dressed. :p

Don't really have a routine. I wake up, get up, get in shower, wash face, body and hair. Get out of shower, dress, wax hair and boom, ready to go out.

Only thing I do have 'must haves' for are that deo must be sure extreme protection and soap must be palmolive (I come out in spots if not).

Dont have a routine here either,I have short buz cut hair so no need to faff around with that,i have a shave every couple of days..

I do however sometimes put some Nivea Moisturiser on my face and hands as sometimes can get quite dry.

Were not supposed to use all these chemicals. Makes me wonder why we have so much cancer in the world.

I like to use Original Source black pepper and chilli hair/body wash in the shower.. Sounds weird, but I really like it.
I Shave every other day after showering. Using Gillette stuff, but I want to change to something a bit more organic.
Then I use a facial cleanser from Lush.
Brush teeth.. Colegate Advanced White.
Then a few sprays of a facial toner, also from Lush.
Hair is messed up with a bit of Shockwaves creme stuff.
Moisturise hands if they're a bit dry, usually this is only in winter. I'll use Dove for that.
Good to go!

1.Urinate.
2.Brush Teeth (colgate something or other).
3.Shower using tesco soap (4 for a pound).
3a.(Use the above soap on hair twice a week).
3b.(Shave when strife complains to an unbearable point).
4.Dress.
5.Get to station to commute to West London.

Now that used to be my routine, but now I WfH more often than not, I've started skipping a few of the above and got a bit smelly (according to the strife).

My routine:

Wash: Bodyshop Tea tree foaming face wash
Toner: Garnier rose extract toner for dry skin
Moisturise: Biotherm Aquapower
Exfoliate: Bodyshop seaweed exfoliator - pre-shave

and yes it does work for me, I flake like no tomorrow if I don't :p
