What's your skincare & grooming routine?

My routine:

Wash: Bodyshop Tea tree foaming face wash
Toner: Garnier rose extract toner for dry skin
Moisturise: Biotherm Aquapower
Exfoliate: Bodyshop seaweed exfoliator - pre-shave

and yes it does work for me, I flake like no tomorrow if I don't :p

Have you thought that the reason you are flaky is because you apply tea tree to your face every day? Tea tree is well known to be drying on the skin.

I like to exfoliate once every 2-3 days and moisturise every day. Once a month I bath in the blood on my enemies during the full moon.

I live in the American Gardens Building on W. 81st Street on the 11th floor. My name is Patrick Bateman. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Film quote = fail

Wake up.
Go back to bed for another 30mins.
Get up.
Turn shower on, put shaver on charge.
Brush teeth.
Have shower (take few mins for it to warm).
Check myself. ;)
Have shave.
Get dressed.
Go to work.
Or make breakfast.

All in all - from minute i rise from the pit - takes me less than 30mins.

My weird one:

Face: Hibiscrub, aka chlorhexidine gluconate
http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/skin-and-hair/medicines/hibiscrub.html

My mum gets it from her work, a vets! The only thing I found that helps with my skin- mild acne. Doesn't leave me overly dry or greasy skinned.

My other slightly weird one is mixing bio oil with what ever post-shave moisteriser I'm using. I occasionaly use bio oil pure as a night-time moisteriser if skin is looking tired.

I do need an exfoliant. I've always suffered from visable pores on my nose. It's not black heads but just large obvious pores..

Every 2 days shower + shave with Bluebeards revenge shaving cream + Merkur 34C HD. (No pressure, let the razor do the work)

Every other day leave it alone, all natural, no spots at all. If I wash too much I get dry skin + lots of spots = :( :( :( :(

I wash with some of that Dove shower gel stuff.

I also exfoliate weekly with a handcloth, you can feel the difference afterwards, it's like I've got new skin.

Jeez.

Words fail me.

It's a good job it's not possible to catch gayness through an internet forum because this thread is full of it!

I shower every morning and am currently using a Molton Brown re-charge black pepper bodyscrub bar. I currently wash my face with The Body Shop For Men Maca Root Face Wash. I wash my hair with TRESemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo. I also sometimes use a Rock Face Mens Face Scrub. I then blow-dry my hair and use Redken Rough Clay 20 to style it. I currently use Sure for Men Quantum deodorant (though I buy whatever is cheapest). My preference is Mitchum though. I moisturise with Baxter Of California Super Shape Spf 15. Finally I rub some Gehwol nail oil into my toenails, as I have an issue with them becoming brittle. Every three days I trim my beard with a Remington MB320C Barba Beard Trimmer. I also trim my nasal hair with one of those trimmers I picked up cheap.

That sounds so gay. :o

I break rocks with my face in the morning & rub myself down in gun oil of a night.

How much do some of you spend on products?

I wash my face every morning with just plain old water, always have done. I've never suffered from spots, dry skin, nothing. When people discover my age they always comment they would not have guessed as I look much younger.

Best way to look after yourself is eat good food, good fats and do some exercise.

I spend about £10 every 2 months now. Initially I spent £60 for the main products.
