Housemates made my chicken go off!

Seems a bit, errr, dramatic.

Theres a limit to how much should be tolerated - they were asked many times to be more considerate. Plus I was paying for the connection and they never offered to contribute once in almost 3 years (whereas others often did).

BTW, your chicken wont have been off. Frozen chicken in a bag is usually the cheap stuff that does tend to smell horrible when defrosted.

So why didn't you cut them off? Most people can be foiled with a simple MAC restriction.

I remember having housemates - but they were not THIS bad. What I found worked was the subtle suggestion that any gal they bought home would be utterly disgusted at how they live and good luck on getting that second phone call from them for another date.

Took a day or two to sink in but after that the place was kept in decent shape lol.

Are you a girl? :p

Once one of your housemates puts the pet cat in a washing machine and kills it then you'll have a good reason to moan, but until that happens stop whining and get on with things!

That would have ended up being just as confrontational only I'd be on the back foot... besides which most of the people I've lived with have atleast had enough IT knowledge to reset a router.

Man up & stop being such a chicken.

You need more birds to move in.

Sounds like somebody needs to be hen-pecked into behaving.

+ many more (I'm out of ideas)

This sort of thing makes me glad that i spend extra money, even though i can't afford it, to have my own place. Most annoying for me was housemates always in the kitchen and shower when you want to use it and have to wait.

I bought a new knife block and the one housemate used the knives to open her god damn tuna tins and she bent every one.
