edit: Why should they be cheaper than the total oh wise and all knowing easyrider?

So you'll be taking a pay cut then? I mean, chances are you could get by on less.

What a bunch of dicks creating a load of jobs and making it so people don't have to travel miles to go shopping.

Especially at low low prices. The audacity of it all!

This thread is dissapoint.

I don't like Tesco either.

Guess what, I just shop somewhere else instead of going on the interweb and crying about them.

Your use of large font makes your argument more convincing.

What don't people get here?

Head in sand is all I can say

Just go on your merry way living your life getting shafted.

Go out a buy a new 7850 GFX card for more money 18 months on from the 6950 and have the same performance.

Don'y buy your car tyres online and save 100's of pounds

Don't complain about your dodgy pint and get the ***** the next day

Don't challange your insurance quotes just renew every year cause your to apathetic to care.

We live in the age where the consumer must fight back!!!

I wrote to the store manager asking why my local Tesco was 3p more a litre on diesel than the tesco store 10 miles away

Define Local?

How can the two tesco's be so different in price and yet be so close?

Aylesbury, I think it's around 1.38/1.39. It's the only supermarket in the town. All the surrounding towns are cheaper but 3/4p. I fill up whenever I am visiting family or the missus in Watford/Rickmansworth due to it being cheaper.

Then why not undercut them?

Because there is no need? They've obviously decided that the optimum pricepoint for the filling station is at the same level as Total - the additional custom from lower prices will not make up for the loss of revenue the lower prices will result in.

Pretty simple really.

READ THE THREAD. DO I HAVE TO SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU? etc ;)
