*** Mass Effect 3 ***

Really? You sure you have the right thread?..... I haven't seen anyone praising the game without also criticizing aspects of it. EDIT- LOL, except the guy above you, didn't see that:p

Some people are just not letting the bad bits(of which there are a few too many to completely ignore imo) spoil their enjoyment of the game.

PS. When I have completed the game, I will review it with plus/minus points, and believe me, there will be plenty in the minus bit!

just coz I enjoyed it doesn't mean there were parts I disliked ;) lol
but then again I enjoyed DA2 :)

So I completed it and well.... I don't know what to say really lol. The game was great loved it through and through and being a BIG fan of the Mass Effect Series I was happy.

However that ending...... :( It all seemed good I like the idea then boom its over in a flash and it just does not make sense at all.

With all the Mass Effect relays blown to bits that means the whole galaxy is divided and screwed. Means every alien that was in the fight for earth can no longer get back to their worlds as such torn from familys and friends.

Also with the whole Joker and Liara (EDI if you went for it) landing on a planet I mean wtf are they are totally stuck there with no one else so they are screwed...

And that secret ending which I got with the Stargazer and child... SERIOUSLY !! I mean when I got it I was like huh, I wonder what this secret ending is... only to find out that the Stargazer bit was the secret. :(

They should have made the 3 choices at the end really count to a change in the outcome. I've seen all 3 and nothing changes at all except the colour of the beam.

Overall I don't know if I should be happy or not lol. I loved the game and could not put it down. I loved the way the story was going. But I will have to agree with the majority the endings just made no sense for the reasons I said in my spoiler.

Is it confirmed the stargazer thing is the so called secret ending? I thought every ending had that

Been thinking of another annoyance with the Normandy crash scene, the crewmembers that walk off the ship actually look reasonably happy considering they are stranded on an unknown planet, with the mass relays destroyed and their leader/best friend/lover dead (as far as they know)

Must be some sort of record to destroy so much with so little.

This game seems to work good in 3D except the aiming is off....you have to aim like an inch or so to the left which is a shame i guess it's due to no 3D profile yet.

Oh well least the fps cap unlock works fine in this at 120hz.:)

Does it really say about continuing the story with DLC?

Yes. I'm sort of torn about future DLC, on one hand if they released something DLC wise that gave a non rubbish ending I'd be tempted to get it. On the other hand due to where it reloads you to after the ending, any DLC has to either take place before the final push, be a hugely different ending or be multiplayer DLC.

It's EA and Bioware, it'll start the next trilogy with Shepard's long lost son.

What if your shepard was gay???

It's the future! I'm sure this is possible by then:

I'm actually quite shocked. Some of the voice acting in this is quite shoddy tbh(soundtrack is awesome though). For everything else going on, you at least expect that to be good .....Even for all of its failings though, this game is still totally epic. Just done the whole Quarian/Geth storyline, 22 hours in.

I can't imagine playing this game without the squad members from ME2 in it. Every encounter has been great. I might get a save from ME2 with a few loyalty missions failed to mix up the story a bit though, not that there aren't enough emotional moments in it anyway. Some very powerful moments in the game.

*Squeak*

Grinned from ear to ear when I found him. Minsc would be proud.

It took me the third visit down there to realise what it was. The first time I saw only the red interactive circle and was like "strange, a glitch". Then I saw a soldier who salutes if you interact so assumed it was just him. Then I saw some orange thing in the middle and thought it was like a stowaway rachnii or something. Finally caught the ****er and had to laugh to myself :D

Weird, I too am 22 hours in and have just
rescued legion
.

I know what you're saying about the ME2 members, but I feel like they just reintroduce them, then kill them off for the sake of it in some cases.

I haven't had any of them die because I passed the loyalty missions:p(apart from the ones that have to die- Mordin, Thane and Legion so far, and I thought they were woven in to the story quite well).

I imagine if you fail Jacks loyalty mission she sacrifices saving the students? Anyone had that happen?
I might engineer that for another playthrough.(if the ending doesn't put me off like it has some)

I think Bioware have already proven they'll do anything for EA want them to in the name of money. I hardly think they continuity will be high on the list of priorities when it comes to milking idiots for all they're worth with poor quality DLC and alternative endings.

The ending for me stank of "well we got this far and now really can not be ****** doing anything so lets just throw some piece of **** together and it will do!".

Seriously EA/Bioware what the hell were you thinking!

Stoner81.

Just a quick question, want to find out how far I am in the game

I've just cured the genophage

Also

Mordin, shine on you crazy diamond :(

well after watching the special destroy ending I suppose I could put up with that ending more but it still gives no closure

I wonder if bioware didn't waste time with the pointless multiplayer how much better the game would have been with the extra time/resources
:)
